Its the Season of the year again!
  Xmas is again round the corner..how time flies..last year at this time, Raphael is still only 2 months old in Mummy's womb. Now he is a healthy, bubbly 6 month old baby..This Xmas will be especially joyful with him to share the joy..What does he like for Xmas? Hmmm..more toys? new Car Seat? or new stroller..guess mummy will be drooling if she read this post..My plan is to buy him a nice set of white angelic clothes for his Baptism on the 14th Dec (change to Feb 09)! Raphael will grow up to be a boy loving every traditional festivals just like Daddy..Time for the Xmas tree to go up in the house and can imagine Raphael sitting in his Bumbo seat gazing at the lights on the tree knowing his inquisitve behaviour haha..in local slang, its called "Kayppoh"Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

Boy! He sure can JUMP
 Raphael and Faith  Raphael in Jumperoo Its Deepavali hols and Mum and Dad is bringing me to Faith's house at LaCasa for a visit..Time to make more frens and know more gals hehe..The weather was so hot and the swimming pool at LaCasa looks so tempting. But mum says my skin is sensitive, so cannot swim in pools yet. Just has to make do with my swimming sessions at Hua Xia in BIG TUBS of water. Faith jie jie welcomes me to her house and share all her toys and GADGETS with me..I am so happy to sit on her rocker horse, swinging cradle and of course the FAMED Jumperoo..has been hearing Mum raving about it to Dad on how I would love it..On my 1st time sitting in it, i fell in love with it hehe..i jump jump jump like there is no tomorrow. Its so fun but tiring to jump in the Jumperoo.. When it was time to leave, i felt so tired but happy JUMPING..My Jumperoo will be delivered tom, i can have all the time in the world to jump to my hearts content. I will practise some special movements and show off to my parents and grandparents..haha Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

Feeding Raphael
 Breastfeeding was never easy... I had started on a road of no return.. until the day i stopped. Total breastfeed is lagi worst... I had friends who had already stopped and enjoying their sleep and shopping. Me? I am still persisting. and my persistance realli pay off with abundant supply of milk for Raphael. I still remember 6months ago when precious darling came into this world. My supply was miserable. That few drop of colostrum.. I experience tremendous pain when nipple crack and he bite me...well...feeding him become something which terrifies me then Then he was admitted to hospital due to jaundice.. I had to start pumping for him and bring over to hospital. That begins my 2nd job called exclusively pumping. When he was discharged, i tried to latch him on and milk blisters appear...hurts me so much... so..i switch to pumping again. I still remember the times when my right hand is totally numb and i couldnt feel much when i tried to held on to objects... My heart froze... Then it spread to my left hand..so both my hands were numb from the 2nd month. I was so tempted to get a electric pump.. but the cost put me off. For a electric pump it cost ard 200+.. hai... so i endure.. It wasnt a pleasant experience for a first time mummy like me and i had hear numerous unwanted "Advice" saying my milk is too thin, too little, i latch for too long.. Initally i am very affected by such unwanted comments and feel so disgusted by their behaviour. The worst is yet to come. I was down with high fever on 3 occassion, all temperature were soaring a high of 38-38.5degree... The first fever i had to feed raphael with Formula milk as i had no knowledge that he can still continue to drink my milk Then, engorgement was the next stage of bf. Times when i overslpt and i wake up with pain, i had nobody to comfort me, nor anyone to help me. I got to rely on myself.. I cannot complain to anyone.. Else, pple will discourage me to stop bf. All i need was some comfort when i complain. But i received none. The time has come.. I am now going into the 6th Month of feeding him. I am so proud to have a big giant baby weighing at least 8.5kg now! =) I am so glad that i push through despite all odds (with a miserable manual pump) and had ignored and filtered off those unhelpful & hurting comments made by pple. Well.. My next target is to continue till he is 9 months old. Should be ok, since i got 3 more months to go. Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

First Family Outing 19th Oct at Sentosa
   This is my very first family trip to Sentosa! I am so so so excited that i keep screaming and shrieking away.. Once I hit the bed.. I feel so so comfortable.. Poo Poo on 18th Oct
 After a long 4 days of wait...Raphael FINALLY POO! YEah! After we started him on cereal, he has been pooing lesser.. Last Sunday, he pooed 2 times, then.. Monday nothing.. Tuesday evening at Astons, he pooed! hehe.. Despite the smelly sensation, I am so so happy to see the amount he poo.. After we reached home he poo again.. we realli were jumping.. Then.. He stopped for 4 days... We were about to give up and thinking of what to do.. See a PD? Feed him prune juice? Stop cereal? oh man..u name it..we think of it.. I even think of putting my fingers in (just joking)... The moment came when i was surfing net and Raphael fussing so much... i didnt realli bother as he has been like this since morning.. If you see the amount he pooed..you will have wonder how come a small little creature like him can hold so much man! wow! eventful day! I am so happy. Shopping at Robinson 14th Oct 2008
 Yeah.. Mummy had her 25% discount voucher from robinson and she pulled daddy along to go shopping.. She bought 2pkt of 3*260ml Avent bottles, some toys for me! yeah... but i was soon down with fever and they were so worried that they rushed home! Then mummy took out this stick on cooling strip from pigeon and stick onto my forehead.. hehee... so cool I finally poo after 2 days of long long wait for them... and i pooed twice! yippie! hehe  Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

Baptism - Raphael - ArchAngel

Rainforest Jumperoo
 Should i get, should i not get... hai...wanted to rent this toy leh.. but thinking that it is more than 2nd hand..am held back lor... Raphael started to jump today..when we were carrying him in standing position.. Jump up n down! hahaaaa first time i see him so happily jumping..having headache! hahaaa Should i buy? Rent? New milestones - Oct 5th

Raphael Darling
 I have never think that i would want to love this small little boy so much..neither can i imagine how much i wanted to protect him from unwanted incidents.. he is such a darling.. I have sacrifice alot of sleeps and rest just to ensure he is well fed and taken care of (as i always say...BEST EFFORT)... I have tried my best to protect him from dirty hands which will definetely cause rashes attack.. (no questions asked about this). Next stage in his life is starting on solids food.. I do have my reservation on this and am indeed worried. Worried whether will he develop any allergies to certain food.. worried that pple will feed him foods without my consent.. well..i shall stand firm in this.. I do not want him to take food which is not on my list.. which may leads to stomache or any other things..I do not want to take chances.. Typical Kiasu Singaporean I have bought a few books.. on how to prepare his first food and i am very excited on this... shall wait for his next PD visit before i do anything... For now till then..
