Raphael's random pictures
event : ntuc shopping this happens when we are shopping at ntuc on night..raphael saw kinder eggs on display and initially he walk over and 'stroke' the eggs..then he picked it up and tell mummy he wants to buy..but daddy being the baddie of the family, tells him NO..put it back.. raphael puts the egg back and as he walks away, he reluctantly says "鸡蛋" byee byee..haha..mummy on hearing how sad he is to leave the eggs behind, gave in and bought it for him..seeing his eyes lit up when we gave him the permission to buy really melts our heart.. event : housekeeping daddy came home after work and was keeping the CNY deco in the living room..raphael apparently misses daddy alot during the day..so he came out and drag daddy into his room to play with him..but daddy gently declines and went about keeping the stuffs in the living room..mummy told daddy that after he went out of the room, raphael buried himself underneath the blanket and stayed there, seems to be angry or sad that daddy didnt play with him..makes daddy feels so guilty  raphael the hell rider.. .  raphael loves to put on head dress .  before roll popiah .  after roll popiah .  grandpa and grandson .  raphael has a BIG head..almost un-proportion liao Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts 
Gabriel's Full Month Celebration
date : 26th feb 2011 saturday event : gabriel's full month celebration today is gabriel's official full month celebration..this day marks the 1st milestone for gabriel in the chinese cultural belief..it also marks the end of mummy's confinement..she can start to indulge more openly in her favourite foods and also step out of the house.. we have 2 sessions as usual, morning for relatives and evening for friends..the weather is good, cooling winds flowing thru the house is way better than not so cool aircon as in past experience..also helps to go green.. morning session from 11am-3pm, turnout was good and raphael treat the event as though its for him..all red packets and presents for little gabriel, he says its all his and enjoyed himself opening them in the night. evening session from 5-8pm was all mummy's friends and and thanks to all uncle, aunties, kor kor and jie jie for gracing this event.  gabriel wearing party hat  full month cake  thank your card  caleb and grandma phay  the elders sharing a light moment  rayden and raphael  the jie jie admiring gabriel haha  the twins chloe and elsie  see grabriel's eye haha Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

The 2 Brothers - Acceptance
raphael has been accepting gabriel well..he is starting to notice his absence if he dont see gabriel..he will also sayang him and fiddle with gabriel's little finger and toes..sometimes he will bend over and kiss gabriel's forehead.. raphael is starting to adapt to school and no longer crys when mummy leave him in the class..from outside, we can hear his laughter..guess he is enjoying himself in the class. he still throw some tantrums every now and then..like before class, he will refuse to change into his uniform, lie on bed and says he is tired etc...but once we 'force' him to walk to his class below our block, he will 'guai guai' follow teacher in and seems to forget about his earlier antics of not going to class.  nice shot of raphael .  kor kor kissing di di .  baby gabriel at 18 days old .  . Shaine and Shaynce visit R&G
date : 13th feb 2010 lazy sunday today auntie corynn brought shaine and shaynce to visit baby gabriel..and the 2 toddlers had a great time playing together..raphael gladly shared all his bikes, cars and helmet and at one stage, raphael locked himself and shaine alone in the room haha..so young and already needs privacy :p when its time to go home, shaine actually felt reluctant and wanted to stay and play with raphael..the 2 seems to bond well haha...    baby shaynce Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

Raphael thru the days
pooor raphael..he has been cooped up in the house together with mummy who is doing her confinement..no more malls hopping, swimming or outdoor time..we need to make up to him after mummy's confinement..raphael has been requesting to go swimming and see people fly kite..the 1st place we will go will be marina barrage.. we can see that he is clamouring for attention from us although we try not to put more attention on gabriel..he has so far been avoiding carrying gabriel, although he will sayang him every now and then. raphael is starting his 1 1/2 hrs daily apple tree playgroup, and today marks the 1st day where he is on his own in the class..heard from granny teo that raphael cried for a good 1/2 hr before settling down in class.. after lesson, he can relate to mummy that he vomitted due to crying and teacher pass him a small pail to vomit in..he also says teacher "cane" his classmate as he is naughty..but didnt "cane" him as he is good boy haha..  raphael looking at gabriel with mickey mouse  sarong raphael  mummy's birthday  raphael's way of eating his fav choco cake  raphael with claire jie jie, which he says he enjoys her company    Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts
Gabriel thru the days
Gabriel's jaundice is receding as his skin colour returns to pinkish and not yellowish..thanks to all the milk that we have been feeding him..he is growing well..for a 10 day old baby, his open eyes time is considered long haha..we cant help but compare the 2 boys together, on their similarities..they really look so alike at the same phase of life.  yawn....... .  open eyes time... .  such big eyes..like raphael .  looks so comforted in his sleep Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

This chinese new year eve dinner is held at our house instead of grandpa phay's house as mummy is doing her confinement and cannot go out..as a change, we ordered sheraton libai restaurant's poon choy to complement the usual steamboat feast.. yusheng "ceremony" as usual where the ingredients are tossed high high for good luck follow by dinner..today happens to be auntie laiping's birthday and we had a nice fruit flan from sheraton for dessert..yummy cake.. godpa bennett is all alone in canada for work, and this post is meant for him to reminisce about the past years when he is able to join in the festive celecration  yusheng tossing .  raphael being stopped from blowing candle .  .  our caleb's 1st "bai nian" ceremony .  godma yvonne, yvette and ian .  raphael all alone as mummy and gabriel are 'confined' during cny .  .  .  .  .
