Jumperoo for Gabriel!
This is a very expensive toy with good 2nd hand market in singapore..jumperoo is the name..from the 1st time we let raphael tried out and see how he enjoyed jumping in it, we decided to ship one from USA as it works out to be cheaper than buying in Singapore, costing close to SGD 170 then..thats close to 3 years back..and we have since sold that one.. now that gabriel is 4months old, his neck movement is more stable and again we are on the hunt for a jumperoo..mummy enquire about shipping it from USA and this time round its going to cost close to SGD250?! Even in the local market, this will cost us around $215?! Somehow for Gabriel, we seems to be less particular and can accept 2nd hand items..firstly, he is already wearing all those hands me down from raphael, everything from head to toe are hands me down..mummy already tried to get some brand new items but also feels abit wasted if we dont reuse those as good as new from raphael.. for this jumperoo, mummy chanced upon this 2nd hand from a forum and upon enquiry, found the price to be unbelieveable..so unbelievable that on that night itself we went down to self collect in-case its gone the next day..fact is there is some defect thus the low price..but on inspection and trial on the spot, we believe we got a good deal..in the end, we paid $40 for a pre-loved compared to $225 for a brand new..also as this will only be used by gabriel for a few months before he outgrow it, its really a steal..  the as good as new Jumperoo  raphael teaching gabriel how to play. jump  gabriel enjoying himself sooo muchee  gabriel surrounded by trees, birds lotsa different jungle items Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

Thomas bed is Ready !
the screws finally arrived from the seller and daddy and raphael get down to work on this wednesday night fixing up the bed..the screws are sooo difficult to align..daddy spend close to 20mins just to align and fix in 1 screw..and there are a total of .....22 screws!! OMG...now starting to appreciate ikea's ease of fixing in their design.. Raphael as usual will chip in to help out in his own "destructive" ways and after close to 1 hour..the bed is finally up..we decomission his old cot as the screws has lost its traction and in danger of falling apart..  the little engineer at work  daddy and raphael working hand in hand to fix the bed  raphael enjoying his fruits of labour  the bed has a nice thomas train face in the front Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

Raphael's Journey on toilet training
 we have been delaying toilet training for raphael as what granny phay said, we indulge him too much, making him too reliant on us..23rd May is the day when mummy goes back to work and granny phay officially starts to take care of the 2 kids.. today daddy is working from home and was on hand to observe how raphael behaves in front of granny phay..we knew all along that he is "afraid" of granny and grandpa phay..without daddy realising, raphael is daiper-less for a good part of the afternoon..and whenever he wants to pee or poo, he will actually tell granny about it and she will bring him to the toilet..daddy is amazed haha..all of a sudden, he is toilet trained.. but guess we are too complacent and didnt let him wear after granny went back for the day and he pee into his pants in the evening while playing his iphone games..guess he must have forgotten that he is diaper-less. its a good start at least he can be without diaper from morning till evening..whoohoo..can start to imagine how much diaper$$$$ can we save.. New thomas bed
since we carpetted the room 1 1/2 years back, we dont remember seeing raphael sleeping on his bed anymore..infact the cot that we converted into a children bed is used more by gabriel than raphael..see if you can spot raphael in the room..we need to be very alert when we walk about the room in the night as you never know which corner will raphael be lying at.. we hope that with the new thomas bed, raphael will want to sleep on the bed proper rather than on the floor..we ordered this bed online and after 1 month long wait, its finally here!! cant wait to fix it up and see our darling enjoying his sleep on a proper bed  his cot converted bed  can you spot the ZZzzz raphael?   new thomas bed frame  Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

Universal Studio Visit
Mummy's parent company SPH organised a night Universal Studio visit for all employees and family last sunday..the event started at 630pm and lasted till 11pm..we had high hopes for a night of exciting fun but it wasnt what we expect in the end haha..as raphael dont dare to take some rides and some rides he didnt make the minimum height ..so we only managed to take those kiddy ones.. the weather was quite warm and considering its at night..cant imagine how the experience will be if its in the day..we still managed to spend a good 3 hours experiencing the place with raphael getting more adventurous and trying out more rides.. we end the night having ice cream and cakes at Celebrity cafe and also spend some time in the souvenier shops buying T-shirts, ginger bread man plush toy for raphael..just as we are about to leave, we bump into Kungfu Panda Po which mummy managed to take a photo with..but raphael was afraid of him..and guess what he call him? he call him "Hello Panda" after his favourite snack..omg...hahaha  the famous globe ,  mummy and gabriel .  daddy and raphael .  posing with the cat in shrek.. .  the cat looks fierce and raphael cried when mummy pose with him .  this ride is fun..quite exciting and one of the few raphael's height qualified .  see how mummy is more scared than raphael .  .  the fairytale castle .  taking "The MUMMY" car ride .  .  .  . Hard Rock Staycation 18-20 May
Our 2nd staycation at Hard Rock Hotel @ Sentosa..this time we got a good member rate at less than 1/2 price compared to our last visit where we paid in FULL ah...we are back just for the pool which raphael enjoyed last stay..we spend a lazy 3D2N playing, sleeping and eating as mummy is going back to work soon from her materity leave..  .  his favourite water gun .  .  .  enjoying the slide .  family photo .  caleb visited us and had a great time playing with the water .  the 2 brothers. .  raphael imitating the M&M action .  .  kungfu fighting .  gabriel by the poolside .  raphael splashing water on mummy .  mummy and gabriel .  the scenic pool Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts
