Gabriel's Achievements
Its 14months since Gabriel came into our life and this little boy has never failed to cheer us up whenever we reach home after a long day at work..he has a ready smile for anyone, everytime..
His recent achievements are walking -> running..attempt to sing when listening to his favourite chinese nursery ryhme..trying to pronounce Mama..Daddy and Ho Jiak (delicious) haha..his pronounciation of Ho Jiak is soo audible that its soo funny listening to him going ho jiak ho jiak whenever he eats anything..we dont remember anything he dont like to eat (with the exception of spicy stuffs)
His sensitive facial outbreak is also slowly recovering..not sure if its due to the Skin specialist Vitamin A or mum's moisturiser..anyway..so long as his face becomes white white and we will be happy..
Gabriel..we love you as much as we love Raphael..and we know we have been "short-changing" you as we tend to splurge more on Raphael than on you..Your Mummy promise to make it up to you..and as she is saying this..she is planning a birthday bash for Raphael's 4YO at Go-go-Bambini..
Lets see what she gives you on your 4th Birthday huh..talking about favouritsm.

New Home Decoration
Our house decoration is already 5 years old..time really flies..whats fortunate is that our electical appliances are all going strong..Condominium? thats beyond our reach with the sky high price..so whats next? refresh our house to last the next 5 years lor..

Looking around the house, our sofa, TV, dining table, patio area are all refreshed with new furnitures...it seems the only area is the outdated bomb shelter door area..5 years back, we simply decorated it using Ikea's stickers..Daddy feels it looks obiang now..and we wanted something "modern"..
.
We sourced online for wall decal as this gives us many options to dress up the area..from space, abstract to scenery theme..any options are possible..after deliberating between the iconic Eiffel tower and moden skyscraper landscape, we chose the black and white skyscraper design as it blends better with our grey wall..
.
After installation, it seems we made the right choice..the design complements the bar area well..i no longer need to drink at boat quay to enjoy the view..i can drink in my dining room now..while taking in the new cityscape view..
.
total damage? $405 which Daddy feels its worth it for the oomp factor in our dining\bar area..

Raphael is turning 4 soon
This is the week before Raphael's 4 YO celebration party..this year we will be having it on a Sunday 29th April..his actual day is on 3rd May which is dedicated to only Mummy and Daddy haha..
For the past 3 year, we have been holding the celebration at our house with friends and relatives over buffet spread..for this year, we decided to have something more significant and memorable for the kids as they are all turning 4..we settled for Go-go-Bambini and invites are sent!!
Asking Raphael who he would like to invite, the names he came up with seems to be all girls from his school, past and present..boys are boys..remember names of Girls especially well.

Genting trip 4-6 April 2012
Its the week of Good Friday loong weekend but we didnt plan it on the weekend to avoid the crowd..instead we went up on 4-6 April and its really a good decision..
We took the super luxury coach at Compasspoint and had a comfortable and relaxing journey..the kids are well behaved as there are lots of space for them to move around from daddy to mummy to grandparents..
We reached genting refreshed and checkin to Resorts Hotel which is nicely decorated..we got a connecting room and the kids likes it soo much..running between the rooms and spending alot of quality time together.
As its on a weekday, there is no crowd for rides and restaurants. we are able to enjoy the activites in a leisurely pace which is what a holidays should be..
Our fortunes in the casino is mixed but more on the winning side..all our meals are paid for with winnings haha..
overall its a GREAT trip which everyone enjoys..and it allows the kids to grow closer with the close interaction over the 3 days..

Welcome Godpa Bennett Home for 3 weeks
Its April Fools day today and we are all at Terminal 1 to welcome Godpa bennett back from Canada for a 3 weeks break..the kids, especially Ian is soo excited..when he sees his daddy in the luggage area, he immediately ran forward and push his nose against the glass..trying to catch a better view of his Daddy.. This trip is a bonus as we dont expect Bennett to be back until July where the whole family will be going over to Canada..we had lots of activities planned out for this 3 weeks..starting with a 3D2N Genting trip where the kids are soo looking forward..its also the 1st time the cousins are going to Genting, infact..is it the 1st time for Yvette and Ian? Daddy has been prepping Yvette and Raphael for this Genting trip and Raphael already had a long list of rides in his mind to bring Yvette to.. Our Tua pek and family? they are still in Shanghai with our little Charis due soon in May..which is 1 month time..cant wait to see this 2nd princess of the family.. Happy Belated Birthday to Uncle Ah Lai
