Raphael and Yvette...
Over dinner on Sunday, Godpa Bennett share with us his job requirement to be stationed in Canada for 3 years..and his desire to have his family with him during this period..of course its a good thing to have the family together..but we are going to miss Yvette jie jie..she is one of my playmate that I wont feel shy or "bullied" as she loves me alot and will always ask about me and sayang me.. Mummy was saying she will miss buying Yvette jie jie's fav food like biscuits and yogurt for her..Daddy will miss her cheeky smile and her pet phrase "Daddiee leh?", which she will always says when She cant find his Daddy..3 yrs apart for Raphael, Yvette and Ian...seems such a long time... Meet my PlayMates
Today was so fun in the kindermusik lesson..all the usual suspects turned up and MORE..Rachel and Damien joined in the class..only Keon is missing from lesson..After lesson, a last minute gathering was organised at Megan's house where Auntie Angela hosted us..Her house was full of toys and all of us enjoyed playing with Megan's toys..See how has all my friends grown since we 1st met up ard 5 months old..its been 1 year since I 1st met them.. Visit to NTUC with my push car
Daddy was lamenting what a White Elephant this little push car has become..so we decided to make use of it for our usual trip to NTUC..Raphael was enjoying it on the journey there..and keep horning along the way..however, on the way back, he grew bored and dont want to sit in the car anymore..so Daddy need to push the car back loaded with grocery instead..Daddy describe this as like Taxi ferry passenger to Airport..then no passenger, so empty cab back to city haha

Window Grilles
After 3 years..our house is finally GRILLED! partly becos Raphael is able to walk independently now..also due to Daddy got some sleep walking symptoms lately haha..so we finally decided to get the grilles done..the design is simple to allow lights in and also not to have a cluttered feel.. Breakfast with Horses
Its Thursday and both Daddy and Mummy took leave for the installation of windows grille at home..since its still early and Raphael is awoke..we decided to make our way down to Riders Cafe to see Horses and also to have breakfast..The place was quite empty as its a weekday..however, there are lotsa horses on their walkabout..White one,Dark ones, small and Big ones..Everyone...Request for pics with them are turned down..guess its dangerous as camera flashes may agitate them..no pics..but its nice enough to see them close up front lor..  White horse look nicer? haha..Racist.  Dark horse looks Macho.. the power of DSLR
see the real power of a DSLR below, the pictures are taken by Mummy's colleague, Uncle Aik Sing, during Raphael's visit to the InvestFair by mummy's company..The colours are so vivid and seems to make Raphael "stands out" from the picture..like "floating" haha.The pic quality is good, then whats holding Daddy back? its the SIZE of the camera...the thot of lugging it ard when going out freaks Daddy out haha.so we are still on Canon powershot for our daily shoot.. Raphael psycho-motor skills
Its Monday today..and its not a public hols..but why got updates on Raphael?!..haha..its because Mummy got slight food poisoning..so she went to see Doc and Daddy took urgent childcare leave to take care of Mummy and Raphael..Raphael has been walking steady without shoes for a month plus..but when he wear shoes, he will require us to hold his hands..but this morning, he was able to walk without support from us, and very steady..his psycho-motor skills are getting better by the day..Yoga pose is another such skills haha.. We also notice that his memory skills is getting better, raising his arms when we shouted "Hooray" to him is one, pointing to the clock when when we ask him "where is the clock" is another..somehow we can feel that he is absorbing more with each passing day.. Outing to Mediya
Its Saturday and we fetched Mummy from Suntec after her seminar finishes and joined Godpa and family at Liang Court for Dinner at the casual italian restaurant on 2nd Flr. (dunno the name)..after that we went to Mediya for some grocery shopping..nothing spectacular, but some nice shots to share though haha.. Raphael's First errand
Raphael.. Can you please bring the ball to Daddy? ... As usual...we were lazing around in the playroom... Watching Brainy Baby and also teaching Raphael on Numbers, Alphabets and Time.. Out of a sudden, I decided to test whether Raphael understand me. So I ask him this question. Unexpectedly, he stop walking and walks towards me, pick up the ball from my hand...happily walk over to Daddy... After placing the ball on Daddy, he walk away happily, beaming with something i called pride! He was babbling, as if to say "hey i can do it man!" Then Daddy says to Raphael, Can you please pass this to Mummy...He took the paper and walk over again..This repeated several time. Then during this, Raphael fell and the ball fell off while Mummy ask him to pass the ball to Daddy, she expected him to pick himself up and forget about the ball. Again he did something which was not to my expectation. He bring himself up, crawl towards the ball, pick it up..walk over n pass it to Daddy.. What a happy sight. Must mark down this happy occasion! Visting Elsie and Chloe
Mummy wanted to visit Elsie and Chloe and also to meet Auntie Shara to share some household tips..The 1st time when i visit their house, the 2 princess are not around, so i can run around freely..but this time round, Elsie and Chloe are in..and me being a guy, am shy shy to play infront of them..so i keep snugging onto mummy's lap and see the 2 princess playing away happily.. Maybe when we meet up more often, then i wont feel so shy liao hehe... Raphael's Fashion
Mummy has been complaining to Daddy that she is very poor, always broke..but Daddy knows her reason for being so..She spends all her allowance on Raphael's fashion lor..what to do..it makes her happy to see Raphael looking cool, funky, cute or smart when we go out..She will always think of a "theme" to dress Raphael up whereas Daddy's fashion for Raphael is just a romper and a shorts or jeans.. Window Grilles - Dream Vs Reality
Come to the current point..Windows Grille..Mummy wanted to install ASAP as I am walking and also likes to climb using my toys as a step..so again Mummy decided..THATS IT..dun want to dilly dally wait liao..again..Daddy woke up his idea and phoned some contractors to give 3 quotes (like Govt agency haha) When it comes to choosing the design, Daddy again face alot of internal struggle between his Dream Vs Reality design. His dream design's lobang is too big..my head can easily slip out..another design is so cluttered it gives him nightmare..so we decided on the safest design which is the Reality..total damage..less then $1000 but over $900..but for my safety..Mummy say its worth the money.. Update on Raphael's "Twin" Sister

Day out at Tampines One
Mummy and Daddy had been wanting to visit Tampines 1 since its opening..but have been putting it off due to long carpark queues and the expected crowd..On Sat, after lazing at home for long period, Mummy decided thats IT..no more lazing on weekends as she wants to go out to SHOP! so Daddy no choice picked himself up from the carpet floor and his DVD to ferry us all to Tampines..We reached early ard 530pm, so the carpark and crowds are manageable..Dinner at the Japanese Gourmet Town..food passable, but pay Restaurant price for food court service (think Marche)..no thanks..this will be our 1st and last visit.. The mall got alot of diff variety shops and offers something different from Tampines Mall..another option in the East.. Wanted to find a place to feed Raphael his porridge, so went to Carls Junior for some fries and guess what..Raphael is more interested in the Criss Cut fries that he totally reject his porridge..We went to TM to buy some intimate stuff for Mummy and Raphael had a good time "admiring" himself in the countless mirrors in the intimate Dept..guess Daddy will be fitting some mirrors in Raphael's playroom soon. As Raphael missed his porridge dinner, he soon becomes hungry and agitated..kick up a big fuss and this ends our outing to Tampines 1..
