Wat an eventful day
The day is Sunday 24th May and i wake up knowing its going to be a fun filled day..Mummy woke up early to cook my porridge and prepare me for the outing..this is the 1st time I am wearning shoes outside..so excited..Althought I dun know how to walk unsupported, i still like to walk walk walk.. We started the day at Safra Yishun for Jorel's 1st YO bash..Whah..the deco for his party is soo nice, balloons, poster size pictures..whah..i had a shock when i see Jorel wanting to "hit" me with his weapon..heng its a poster haha..But poor me..ultimately kena "hantam" by my buddy Rayden...  Look at my Osh Kosh shoe..nice right..  Argh!!..Jorel...dont "hantam" me ah!!  Who knows, its Rayden who ultimately "hantam" me  Rayden and Morgan Faith "renew" their "love", palm to palm haha  Group pictures at Jorel's bash.. The 2nd event i attended was Elsie and Chloe's 1YO bash at HOT park haha..its actually HORT Park, but to me makes no difference as the weather was HOT!! The event was held in one of the aircon function room which was spacious with loads of walking space for me..here i made daddy and mummy walk walk me all ard..Here i got to know a new friend (gal one lah) Yun En and me being the gracious gentleboy, share my biscuit with her..see i feed her in the picture bellow haha..We spend about 2 fun hours at Hort park before going to the last event of the day, Dinner with Granpa and Grandma PHAY..  The beautiful twins Elsie and Chloe  Raphael sharing his biscuit with Yun en ( they are 同年同月同日生)  My new found hobby..walk walk walk..see my PROUD face  Kena sabotage, bunny ears.. We went from Hort park back to Hougang to fetch 爷爷奶奶for dinner at Plaza Singapura..奶奶has been wanting to try the ice monster desserts for a long time and so we decided today was it. We had dinner at Thai Express and dont think we will go back again..the food was expensive, small portions..worst case, the pictures dont tell a thousand words..the nice looking tofu square Daddy ordered for mummy turns out to be a dissappointment. the tofu was like those supermarket tofu, deep fried and drizzzled with some thai chilli..OMG..$6.90 for that..my 奶奶 can do better.. Haha..complaint aside, after dinner, mummy went to Mothercare and bought another pair of shoeshoe for me seeing how much i enjoyed walking..Dadddy also went to Huaxia and bought a new bathing tub for me..whah..its a tiring day but i get to enjoy myself and back home, got to play in my new bathing tub to relax my tired muscles haha.. Crawling
Raphael has been crawling with ease now and his next learning curve is walking without support. on the 16th May, he is enjoying himself crawling all over the place at Gymboree, snatching other baby's balls haha..Raphael is really muscular, his grabbing strength is really strong..think those "victim" of his ball snatching will feel shocked haha.. Birthday Bash
 This is my little cupcake  Snatching balls from Randall  Snatching ball from Rachel Mummy is getting lazier and lazier. She has been neglecting my blog for the past few days. But i can tell that she is indeed very tired and seriously lack of sleep. But I was hoping that she can quickly update on the Birthday Bash on Saturday at gymboree Harbourfront. I had so much fun during the bash! This is the first time I didn't cry at all at the class. Mummy had told her friends that confirm I will cry when i am placed on the floor. To everyone surprise, I didnt cry and in fact I seems to enjoy the party alot! I was seen everywhere crawling away, trying to snatch balls from my little friends. Then during the bubbles session, I was so fascinated by bubbles.. I am so happy during this birthday party and thankful to those aunties who had voted me as the most handsome baby  Bubbles! Family Pictures..
    
We seldom take family pictures and sometimes those which were taken unintentionally look BEST! heheee... Mummy love above pictures the most and it shows how our little darling evolves from a little cutie to a terror trying to walk around with a chair. Hmm..but the first picture did indicate some tinge of "terror-ness" hor! Recently, Raphael had been misbehaving and whenever things are not done according to his wishes, he will ROAR and scream and even resort to crying. Mummy is always very soft hearted... If she see this, she will let Raphael has his ways..Even if it meant delaying her sleep, she is fine.. Happy Mother's Day!
 It started with this
Then this cute little boy
Then this sweetie pie
Then this funny boy
Then become a TERROR! It has been a year since Raphael came into my life.. I still remember the pain I went through when I was induced as Raphael was overdue and stay too comfortably in my tummy...
Then came the next pain, he was admitted to Mount E for Jaundice.. Something I hate to do but had to send him in as Dr Allyson Tan told us that his Jaundice level was way too high and we should act on it fast to bring it down. I was so upset and cried in front of the family which I remember my sister and parents were shocked by my breakdown after I left the hospital and go to fetch my Mum back to do confinement for me. They tried all ways to make me feel better but the tears wouldnt listen at all. All I could think of is how Raphael is doing and whether the nurses will take good care of him. And I worried that he will forget about me... A very silly thought indeed I blamed myself for not giving him enough milk and regret insisting on feeding him on total breastmilk which was simply not enough for him at that stage. But this is the period whereby I tell myself I will have enough milk for him when he discharge and I really work very hard into building up the supply. (By the way, he is on total BM for a year and was introduced to FM only 2 months ago! He is on 7 feed BM, 1 feed FM! ) When he was discharged on Mother's Day, I was so so happy. I started to be very protective on him and from then on, it was of no return. It wasn't easy to take care of him, I have to protect him from alot of things, first it was his sensitive skin, then it was his neck, then worried about people feeding him food which was not meant for babies, then worried he will fall down. Now worry about falling sick. From the chicken pox scare to falling sick in KL when I am all alone in hotel when Ben is working to now having this fake measles... Been through alot and during this recent high fever saga...I wonder where I find the courage to insert the pill into him when his fever reach 40degree.... and I wonder where did I managed to find the energy to keep monitoring him and to worry about his fever... I am so happy to say that Raphael prefer Mummy! YEAH! *wink at daddy* Hoho... Anyway, wish myself a Happy Mother's Day and to those Mummies reading this super naggy post, Happy Mother's Day   He look so cute in the infantino!   He can look nasty, or blur   Whatever he likes or shows any signs that he MAY like, Mummy will BUY... So now you guys know why I am always broke, i saved the best for him. Raphael has Fake Measles
Raphael's fever subsided on the 4th day and guess what..the after effect of high fever is fake measles..As the Doc has already warned us about this, we werent taken aback when our Darling started to develop rashes on his body and face..Its abit bumpy but supposedly not itchy..So Raphael again cannot bath..just sponge him...Dirty boy..havent bathed for ages..guess he must be missing his playtime in the tub..As its contagious, Raphael had to be confined at home together with Daddy and Mummy..He is going to miss Dylan, Keon and Damien's 1YO bash...so dissappointing...But luckily Raphael will recover in time for the Mass Gathering on 16th May at Harbour Front Gymboree..Cya there!! meantime..confinement.. Raphael's 1st YO Bash!
Its 1st May Labour Day and we held Raphael's 1st YO party at our home..We has 2 session..1st for Relatives and 2nd for Friends..we had Raphael's many baby friends over also and it was an enjoyable day as Raphael had so much fun playing with all his friends..

Raphael is sick again..high fever
Raphael suddenly develope high fever on Sunday night..just after midnight after his Birthday..We were patting him to sleep and noticed his head was hot..after measuring with Mummy's BRAUN thermometer, the reading reads 39 degree!! oh shXt man..why so high..Mummy immediately feed him some medicine and plaster his forehead with cooler strip..Mummy and Daddy took urgent leave on Mon to accompany him to see Dr Allyson Tan and a pill was inserted into Raphael's anus..haha..immediately his temperature subside to ard 36 degree..but this was shortlived as his temp again went north after a few hours..Poor mummy had to stay up whole night to monitor his temp and sponge him..When Raphael read this when he grows up, he better appreciate mummy's effort..
