Great GrandFather's birthday celebrations at Canto Kitchen
Venue : Canto Kitchen @ People Park Complex June is a month of many birthday..Great Grandpa is one..This year, instead of going for a buffet, we chose this nice restaurant for a lunch session..  family favourite..Coco Exotic from 4 leaves . Daddy's Birthday Celebration
Date : Last Sunday of June Event : Daddy's Birthday Celebration How time flies..Birthday in the Phay family used to be a 5 pax dinner complete with a candle blowing session, then a 4D number session.. Nowadays, the family celebration is a 11 + 2 pax event. And with all the kids around, the focus of the celebration, instead of the 4D number session, centers around the kids candle blowing.. Especially true for Raphael as no matter whose birthday it was, he will always jostle to blow the candles. . We have guest from USA today! Auntie Amelia and Joel korkor is back for a holiday and joined us for dinner..Raphael took a liking to Joel and they had a great time, enjoying each others company  Raphael's birthday? Daddy's Watches!
There is a saying..A guy who has many watches is one who is not faithful..dunno how true haha.. Daddy loves watches..especially those simple, classic and big face watches..cant afford swiss hand made tens of thousands type? no worries..theres always those affordable designer Japanese option. On last count, Daddy has 8 watches..on average 1 new watch a year..looking at the 1st watch which is about 10 years old and his latest purchase, can see how his "taste" changes haha.. Just got the latest Fossil watch as pictured below, and now aiming the Emporio Armani's classic design..heard Auntie Layhoon maybe able to get it at a discount..keeping finger cross.. What a LETDOWN! england..
Event : England Vs Germany Match WC2010 Last 16 Sigh..England jialat..then suddenly 2-1! got chance!...then Lampard goal not counted!! Referee KELONG!! Just as Daddy was celebrating England's 2nd goal, Raphael also got excited and started shouting, cheering with Daddy..But he got too excited and vomited the milo he just drank minutes earlier..wat a mess..England and Raphael both got into a mess haha.. Might as well, Daddy will lose less sleep over England for this WC2010..a bunch of overpaid, over-rated and non-motivated footballers..Milner worth 20 million? Gerrard 30 million? Mummy is Expecting!
  Today is our 1st visit to Dr Kek, gynae that delivered Raphael for mummy's ante-natal check..its official, our 2nd precious is 7 weeks old and growing well.. Its been hard to keep the good news to ourselves for the past 3 weeks since mummy self tested positive for pregnancy..Its long been our wish to have a sibling for our prince Raphael, for them to have each other's company during their growing phase. Mummy and Daddy are from "big" families with 2 siblings, so we can understand the joy of having someone to fight, laugh and share with in the family..Normal thoughts of "is it a boy? girl?" "will he be handsome? beautiful?" and "what name to call him\her" are the our immediate tots.. After the initial joy and excitement, we started to realise the bigger responsilities that we now have to shoulder..more $$ needs to be put aside, more energy needed to care for them and more LOVE needed to be shared amongst them haha.. No wonder we noticed Raphael has been very clingy to mummy since a few weeks back, guess he knows the arrival of his little sibling before any of us way in advance.. Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

How Raphael got his SIZE
Sometimes when Daddy carries Raphael single handedly for more than 5 mins, he will start to wonder how heavy Raphael has become..especially when we have carried some of his peers, we can really feel the difference..seeing all his daily pictures we took, its not hard to know why haha. . His favourite foods are Cashew nuts (simply crazy over them), Yakult, Biscuits, ice-cream..see below picture, he is enjoying himself on a FULL SIZED magnum..not a mini version..When mummy want to steal a bite, he will kick up a fuss, protecting his ice cream :) .With such love for food like Daddy, how can he not be FAT FAT haha..need to start him on a diet soon . Shanyce Full Month
Date : Saturday 12 June Venue : Shaine's Home Time flies, Shanyce is a month old. She looks like Shaine with her head of short, thick and dark hair. . Raphael was looking at her and sayang her small legs when we ask him to..Need to let him get use to having small baby around.. Shaine and Raphael was excited on seeing each other and enjoyed playing around..They also have no reservations on hugging each other when asked to :) The sweet part is when Raphael sit on the bike and make space by inching forward and ask Shaine to sit behind him..soo sweet haha..so young already knows how to ferry girls on bike. . Its been 4 years.......
Date : Nov 2006 Event : Our Wedding While indexing all the photos on the hard disk, these pictures caught Daddy's attention. Outing to Airport
Date : Leisure Sunday Venue : Changi Airport This months is the JG term break and Daddy and Mummy laze at home until early afternoon..Usually by this time, we would be at JG dancing, prancing with Raphael..But today with no lesson, we decided to make it more interesting for Raphael by travelling to T3 on BUS.. He was so excited on the journey he kept looking out of the window, talking to other passenger and saying "Open Door, Close Door"..T3 was quite crowded and there is a GST rebate offer for most of the shops, meaning we can save 7% just by buying stuffs here from Watson, Cocao Trees etc.. Humpty Raphael had a Great Fall
Date : Day of his 25th Month Birthday Venue : Playroom Culprit : Daddy's PIG leg Its just past 3rd June and having just celebrated Raphael's 25th Month and this thing gota happen. Raphael was playing in the room and wanted to climb over daddy's leg..Daddy didnt move to let Raphael climb over safely..but alas, Raphael didnt managed to climb over Daddy's leg but tripped and fell hitting his lips. The result is a bad cut and lotsa blood that Raphael keep spitting out..Poor mummy had to pacify Raphael to sleep, at ard 2am! in the morning..Well, no pain no gain..hopefully Raphael will learn from this painful experience and not be too naughty and playful.  . Raphael is 25 Month Old
Date : 3rd June Venue : Raphael's Playroom Its Raphael's 25th Month birthday today and as you can see..a single cake is no longer enough for sharing..Raphael used to only take a small mouthful "ceremoniously". Nowadays, Raphael's share of the cake is almost 100% of the slice you see here haha..so Daddy and Mummy need to buy another slice to have enough to go around.
