OMG!!
Raphael has been very active recently as he is slowly learning to walk independently..so as a result, bruises starts to be associated with his lovely face haha..he was playing with Daddy's toy cars on the coffeetable..and suddenly he lost his balance and fell..hitting his cheek on the edges of the coffeetable..we will be going to Ikea for more child protection stuffs soon.. Day out at Playground
A lazy saturday...Daddy is not working and after bring Raphael to cut hair, we happen to walk past the playground on our way home..usually when we walk past the playground, its either crowded or late in the night..so seldom does Raphael get to play..But today its early, and the playground is empty!! so viola..Raphael gets the whole playground to himself..look at how he enjoys himself, peek a boo, pole dancing..indian dance..never knew the playground can be so facsinating for Raphael..we will definitely be back for more when we are free.. Haircut
As the weather is warm and humid..and Raphael is a sweat machine..so he has been scratching his neck due to his long hairs..so we brought him to SuperCuts at Compasspoint to trim his hair..his usual stylist (Angelina) wasnt ard..so we settle for another guy stylist..somehow we find that Raphael's hair is too short and not natural compared to the previous session by Angelina..guess we will stick to her going forward as she is skillfull when handling Raphael's lovely locks :D  Before Haircut.. Indulgences Indulgences and OVER indulgences!!
 Study Material  Books...  Bubble Bath  Part of Shoe Collection Look at all these pictures, all these are not complusory to have but it has become a "necessity" for Baby Raphael. From numerous board books bought from shops, sprees...To shoes and even now, BUBBLE BATH...This mummy is indeed generous in her way of "endless" spending...What you cannot think of she can buy from those sprees, she bought it!! Currently the shoes shown above is only a part of her collection... Although some are gifts from friends, some are Daddy's impluse buying... But the main mastermind is still Mummy. Bubble Bath are mostly classified as some special indulgences for some adults like Daddy and Mummy. I overheard Mummy telling Daddy that in her life she NEVER tried bubble bath before... Raphael throwing tantrum!
Wonder since when did Raphael become a terror haha...usually when we take things away from him, he will just keep looking for it..or he will shift his attention to other toys ard him..but recently, we found that he will actually be unhappy when we interrupt his play and he even seems to bear grudges against the "culprit" (in this case Daddy who took his toy car away)..see the video..he actually bang the table..even when daddy gives the car back to him, he will still continue to "scold" daddy..very funny...hahaha Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

Raphael's new learning materials that Mummy brought from Suntec..loves the vibrant colours and especially like the localised flavours of the fruits poster..seldom can we find fruits like Lychee and custard apple..missing Durian..as Raphael dun seems to like durian haha.. pool day!
The day started cloudy and mummy thot the swimming outing to Morgan's house at LaCaSa is going to be cancelled..we had a lazy day as its a Sunday..we woke up late late late..partly due to an unfortunate event involving a BED, LEG and ME the night before that disrupted our sleep..Mummy wanted to go to Velocity as she heard from Auntie Adnes that Nike baby shoes are on 40% off..so we set off at 1230pm after packing my lunch of mumy cooked porridge.. Mummy and Daddy managed to get a nice pair of black nike with bright green swoosh..its loooks nice on my little feet..I immediately put on my new shoes and wear them on the spot..it fits well as my current Osh Gosh is abit small already..this new Nike is a good investment if Raphael can learn to walk faster, safer and more comfortably..

Studio Shots - 01 June 09
On the 1st June, when Raphael is about 13mths old, "hiao" mummy went to sign up Raphael for modelling portfolio shots haha..Mummy is dreaming of becoming a "GORILLA" mum..we treat the photo session as a studio shooting for Raphael..so its like killing 2 birds with one stone haha.. The results of the shoot is not bad leh..Raphael is more composed this time round and knows how to pose here and there..especially those when he is sitting on the chair..

Raphael is 13 Months Old
Today Raphael is 13months old! Officially a toddler. Lets see new milestones he had achieved for the past 13months. 1. Bends over and picks up an object 2. Enjoys gazing at his reflection (He even kiss his own reflection) 3. Rolls a ball back and forth 4. Eats with fingers 5. Empties containers of contents and Puts objects into a container 6. Imitates others 7. Responds to instructions (e.g., "give me a kiss") 8. Plays with ball 9. Turns the pages of a book 10. Has temper tantrums when frustrated 11. Potty Trained 12. Says A, B, H, Bye, Dada, Mama And his old milestones 1. Says "mama" and "dada" to the correct parent 2. Plays peek-a-boo with blanket 3. Stands alone for a couple of seconds 4. Cruises 5. Picks things up with pincer grasp 6. Crawls well, with belly off the ground 7. Understands "no" and simple instructions 8. Puts objects into a container 9. Stoops from standing position 10. Imitates others' activities 11. Indicates wants with gestures 12. Takes a few steps 13. Separation Anxiety(Super Duper Strong) 14. Waves goodbye
