Cousins Night Out
Date : Wed 26th Sept 2012
its been a long time since the cousins last get together (apart from CNY)..the last time was about 2-3 years back at brewerkz i think..its an all Boyz to Man gang tonight, BBQ dinner at Sakura at Punggol Marina..the buffet choice was good..from different cuts of meat to seafood and sushi..however the quality was average..but costing only $26++ we dont expect much..
The place is halal..so we were dissapointed not able to 大口吃肉大口喝酒..after dinner which we struggle to finish as all old man, cant eat much..we proceeded to the small karaoke pub located in the same building for some TIGER time..
Amongst us 6, there are 4 heavenly king who sings really well..the night ended with an Hokkien song by Bernie and we left the place at 11pm..

sampan ride at MBS
Date : 4th Sept 2012 Tuesday
Its mummy's offday from work and brought the kids to meet daddy after work..after dinner at MBLM Din Tai Fung, we went for a stroll along MBS's olympic walk where the kids had all the space to walk and run..gabriel is especially happy and explore on his own..not even turning back to check if Daddy is still around..
Raphael brought his drawing stuffs along and settles at the riverside and attempt to do still life sketch of the Marina waterfront..
On our way to the MRT, we walked past the touristy sampan ride and it piques Raphael's interest..so Daddy forked out $40 (heart very pain) and took the ride with our big darling..he enjoys the ride very much and after which Daddy again fork out $$ to get the even more touristy photo we see below..
if Daddy spends $20 to take the cab home and avoid MRT (to save $$), he will not have ended up spending so much more $$ haha..

Weekend Surprise Visit from Teo Family
Date : 23rd Sept Sunday
Its the 2nd Day of the Kids being diagnosed with HFMD and its a relaxing weekend of quarantine at home..not that Daddy minds..its been a long time since we just "nua" at home on weekends..
Its also F1 weekend and EPL..so theres plenty to look forward to in the evening..
Granny Teo and Gang are also free today, duck stall close for today and they made the trip to spend the day with us..its nice to have so many people in the house..the kids are as usual the centre of all the attention..
We setup "shop" consist of the painting set for the kids to let their imagination run wild..knowing it will be messy but its ok since the mess is contained at the balcony..
realised as they grows, we can reuse alot of stuffs we got for them, like the drawing board which has been collecting dust in a corner for ages

Pizza Making again
Date : 2nd Sept 2012
Been ages since Daddy last do baking..decided to try making some pizza variety on this visit to Gabriel's Godpa's house..we tried 4 cheese, hawaiian, spicy teriyaki and misc Anchovies..all the flavours turns out well..Its daddy 1st time trying blue cheese topping on pizza..not too bad..although the smell is slightly pungent, the taste is still pleasant..
Rediscovered the joy of dough making..its time to start baking bread again soon..

Yvette 1st Day in Grade 1 - Canada
Date : 1st September 2012
Yvette 1st Day of School at St Dominic..she is attending Grade 1, equivalent to our Primary 1. Her class are 95% local Canadian..it will be a good exposure for her..interacting and learning to adapt to different culture..
According to Yvonne, she is adapting well and taking the school bus home..

Radio Flyer Tricycle for Gabriel

the downside of being a 小弟is that you seldom get new things..from clothes, shoes to toys..90% are hands me down from 大哥..feeling guilty that Gabriel's favourite car is a spolit, old hands me down..Mummy decided to get a brand new tricycle for him..Daddy initially wanted to scout the online WTS forum for one until mummy steps in and insist on a Brand New..
this Radio Flyer is really a 60s classic design..from the size of it, guess Gabriel will outgrow it within a year..the upside of it is that Raphael will not be able to fit in, so he wont compete with gabriel for it..this is really 100% just for Gabriel to practise his psychomotor skills..
he is really loving it for the past 3 hours as Daddy is writing this post..
