Exploring Shapes and Sizes
Raphael loves to play with this set of toy that have different shapes and colours..he will 1st try to match the objects to the correct shape..the funny part is that when he cant match the shape, guess wat..he will lift up the cover and throw the object in..he also knows how to "cut corners" at such a young age..hahahaa..very funnny when watch the video.. Pointing at numbers
We noticed that Raphael notices numbers and reacts to it better..when in the lift, he will point to the display and hold his finger until the lift reaches our level..and when we take the stairs, he also will point to the number indicating the level we at..even when he sees the big block numbers, he also will point and make "eh eh eh" noise..hmm..wonder when can he says 1, 2, 3 hahaahaa  Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts
New Gap Shoe
On Mon, Mummy went to Suntec to meet Daddy for dinner..after that they roam ard the new Galleria extension and chance upon Baby Gap having a nice pair of shoe at 40% off..after less, it cost $18 dollars for this nice pair of shoe..its abit hard to wear as its not strap..but once put on, it fits nicely and the sole is soft..so Raphael can walk easily with this new shoe..looks nice on his small little feet haha..worth the $$$     Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

the one that got away?
 . . . . Whah!..so exciting..tots of free milk powder for life creep up daddy's silly mind..we were supposed to go down for an audition in mid July..Daddy and mummy took 1/2 day leave, ensure Raphael had sufficient sleep the night before etc.. ALL SET!!..but who knows..on the morning of the audition, the agency called up to say due to unforeseen circumstances, the audition has been cancelled..Oops..how? Mum and Dad had 1/2 day leave..so rather than cancel it, they went to run errands instead..Exciting start of day..but a disappointing end to it.. Who knows..is the AD above the one that passed Raphael by? we can only guess..the wait to be "Gorilla" parent's continues :P Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

Daddy's Lunch
Daddy has been wanting to try to replicate his favourite food at home..Marmite chicken which both Daddy and Mummy enjoyed so much at their fav lunchtime hangout..Daddy using a recipe from the web, attempting to cook the dish for lunch..the end result looks good..but taste wise is not haha..its too salty although he followed the recipe to the dot..will need to finetune the recipe..   Dismantle and disposal of bed ....... The carpet uncles came on Sat ard 11am to lay the carpet that we been so excitedly awaiting..they completed the job in an hour..whah..the end result is a nice and comfortable room for Raphael to play in..Daddy and Mummy is going to start decorating the room soon. What to do when BABY chokes
It is important for all parents to know what to do when a baby chokes which is highly probable as they tends to put objects into their mouth. We cannot use the adult method of squeezing their stomach from their back as this method may not be effective and could have adverse effects.. Impacted Teeth
 We brought Raphael to the Kids' Clinic last night to see Dr Lilian, and she diagnosed Raphael teeth as impacted teeth. She commented that his left front teeth is slight pushed into the gum that is why we can see that the front teeth are not even. Mummy is right. Its not her hallucination that Raphael's teeth looks abit weird. Dr Lilian said that Raphael's gum is swollen and in a a few days to weeks time the teeth will stabalised and shift back to original position. Of such cases of direct impact to the teeth, 80% will recover back to normal and 20% will cause a loss of teeth. Over the next few months, we have to monitor the color of his tooth. If it start to turn black, this teeth is gone case. Or if we see some gum infections surrounding his tiny tooth, also a sign of gone case. The adult set of teeth will only appear earliest 5-6 years old, which means 3-4 years of toothless look!! Mummy feel so upset... hai...hope for the best. =) Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

Raphael fell and hurt his teeth - 12th July 2009
Raphael hurt his front left tooth... and bleeds alot.. Mummy is so worried that his tiny tooth will start shaking and then soon will drop... It all happen after the kindermusic class on Sunday and Mummy was inside Macdonald when Raphael was fussing about and Daddy volunteer to bring him out for a walk.. Not long after, Mummy heard Raphael piercing cries... Mummy felt something was very wrong because the cries seems to be in pain...She rushed out to see a crying raphael and a calm Daddy. Daddy told her its nothing, just a slight bump, he is throwing tantrum..Mummy carried over and Raphael continues to cry... Mummy started to check his lips, lower teeth, then Mummy's heart froze.. Such a worrying sight... Mummy rather the one bleeding is her...Then Both of them take turns to see if the tooth is shaky...SHucks! Not sure issit their imagination, it moves!!!

Raphael Walks!!!
Raphael started walking since tuesday, 7th July but it was on 9th July he started to start more confidently and even RUN! Observe the last part of the video where Raphael seems to be jumping as he runs.. It was an exciting milestone that both Daddy and Mummy witness and both of us feel so excited and at the same time worried that this little "drunk" boy may topple and fall.. Aunty Hoon Bday Party
Aunty Hoon is 21 Years old in a few days time, we celebrated her bday at ECP Gold Kist chalet. we have 2 units, one for family and one for Hoon's friends!
As mentioned previously, Mummy had been busy planning which buffets to order, which BBQ stuffs and what cake etc... Haiz.Alot of planning to be done especially when it involves family. At first we planned to have only buffet but due to popular demands, bbq comes into the picture... Then the list of food gets longer when more people input what they wanted (hmmm..did mummy ask for suggestions???) Actually you know as Baby Raphael hates the heat, I will not be the one who demanded BBQ hor... and I am also not the one who demanded another Chalet to stay overnite as I loves my OWN bed.. hahahaa...But look at the lovely cake and the mini cupcake from CupcakeDivinity... Hmmm..My only comment is that it looks good but taste is ok nia... not forgetting the TIARA!! It is lovely and I was hoping to have it as my new toy..But sad to say, it was being taken away BEFORE I even requested.. SOB
Overall I am exceptionally cranky and demanding during the celebration as I missed my beauty sleep. Whenever I feel unhappy I will start crying... This make Mummy super stressed and decided to go home earlier although Daddy is happily being the King of Gambler... But hor, I can also be the king of GAMBLER too!

Mini Gathering at Aunty Doris's House
We had a mini gathering at Aunty Doris's house ..Baby Rachel, Rayden, Timothy, Dylan, Daryl, Aldan, Keon, Megan and Damien were all present..it was a simple yet fun gathering..Rachel the "man hater" haha..see Daryl's Daddy will cry one..
