Jerseys For Raphael
 Daddy saw his colleague buys the Man Utd jersey online and on asking, realised its soooo cheap to get it online. Partly also due to its hard to get locally. . Although the designs are off season, aka old stocks, they still offers value for money. Like the Chelsea set, it cost only 5 Pounds which converts to less than $20 Sing dollar for an authentic dry fit Adidas jersey..Top, bottom and matching socks.. . The Man Utd one is slightly more expensive at 8 pounds, maybe due to its NIKE..The fitting is so nice and looks good on Raphael.. .  Man Utd Star - Raphael Giggs Phay . Raphael is a soldier
Raphael is dressed up as a army recruit today..Camouflauge shorts, army top..and when we went to Toys R Us at Forum, Mummy spotted this helmet haha..its cheap at $3.95..so we bought it to complete the soldier look for Raphael.. . Surprisingly, he dont mind wearing it even for long period..but its hot inside and when we took it off, we can see droplets of sweat inside haha.. . Trial Class at Julia Gabriel - Evan Road

Raphael's Vocabulary increases
Raphael's vocab has been increasing..from 1 word to 2 word and now he can string together 4 words..from car, he move on to sit car..then "I want" to "I want Mickey Mouse"..One night, when Raphael is watching his Mickey mouse club house VCD and Daddy switch channel, Raphael immediately protested by exclaiming "I want Mickey Mouse"..Daddy was like "OOps"..need to switch back to MM for our darling haha.. He will also be making demands for food when we call back to speak to him in the afternoon, knowing its Mummy who called, he will speak into the phone saying "I want chocolate", "I want curry pok".. He also knows how to pre-empt those actions of the Little Einstein VCD by asking Mummy to tap her thigh before the cartoon characters do so.. He has mastered 1-13 and A-D haha..alphabets seems slower..chinese wise, his favourite is 起来 which he will use when dragging us up to walk with him or do errands for him..like asking us to take his biscuits etc.. What a joy looking at Raphael waking up daily, his blur blur looks..watching him doozing off in the night (12-1am!!) and all his small little antics.. Daddy and Mummy loves Raphael sooooooo much... Day 3 of CNY and SUPERMAN
Today, its Grandma Phay's turn to host the family event and what a spread she prepared..All the food in the picture below are homemade, except the century eggs haha..if homemade..dunno use whose urine lor (heard century egg is made using horse urine).. Raphael is all dressed up as SuperBOY today as its RED and bright..nice colour for the CNY..He enjoys himself so much playing with the oranges and other kids around..Although tiring, he didnt nap until late afternoon. We reached Mummy's auntie house in the evening at Jurong West and Uncle Lawrence and Michael brought Raphael down to buy chocolates, and Raphael willingly let them carry when he heard the word "gai gai" meaning shopping..his favourite activity apart from "pok pok" sitting Motorcycle. . 2nd Day of CNY
The highlight of Day 2 is the Phay family gathering at "Tua Pek" house in Punggol..The weather was sweltering hot that day, and with the amount of people gathered in the house, its really a 热闹 event.. There's mee siam, ayam buah keluak, curry chicken, braised duck. ngoh hiang and lots more..all potluck contribution members of the family.. . 1st Day of CNY
The 1st day of CNY and the most unexpected event happened..We were supposed to meet at Grandpa Phay's house at 8am and instead, Daddy was awoken by Granny's call at 810am..Yes..the family overslept on the 1st day of CNY.. We rushed to get ready and managed to reach at 845am..what a way to start the new year..busy day awaits us ahead..total we had 12 visits scheduled back to back haha..from Hougang->Sengkang->Yio Chu Kang->Jurong East..the day ended only at 11pm when we left Grandpa Teo's house. Weather was hot and humid but we still managed to get thru the day with minimal fuss from Raphael..guess he must be overwhelmed from all the different people he see in every house we went to. Raphael got so many Hong Pows which means he will be blessed with good fortune for the year ahead..He is dressed up like a Kungfu Master today..cool costume which helps to keep him cool from the hot weather.. CNY Eve Dinner
CNY eve dinner, an event 1st at Grandpa Teo's house in the early afternoon followed by 2nd session in the evening at Grandpa Phay's house.. Little Xavier 1st Birthday Party

Day out at Jacob Ballas Children's Garden
Its Fri and also Mummy's birthday today, We all took leave to spend a leisure morning together at Jacob Ballas Children's Garden in Botanic gardens. Daddy early in the morning go wrong place haha..parked at Botanic garden itself when the children garden is a good 15 mins walk away, near the former NIE along Bukit Timah Road. . Anyway, we made our way there and as its a Fri morning, the place was empty and HOT!! HOT!! We allowed Raphael to roam around on his own, trying not to restraint him unless there is imminent danger..Else we let him make his own decision to explore. Our main aim is to let him enjoy the water park as he loves WATER..but to our HORROR!, the water park was closed for mainteinence (#$%&$#). We had no choice but to go to the sand playground etc.. . Just as we were about to leave as Raphael by this time was perspiring like a fountain. Mummy suddenly heard and saw water sprouting out of the water park..Hooray!! we are ON..We immediately brought Raphael there to cool himself down. He went from fully clothed, to half naked, to FULL MONTY!! haha..thats the privilege of a child, full monty also not obscene haha..infact Daddy find his naked shots very "Artistic" lor .
