1st Term In Julia Gabriel
Date : 28th March 2010 Sunday . Raphael has been enjoying his "summer break" for more than a month since his last lesson at Kindermusik..Today, we officially starts his new term in Julia Gabriel (JG) @ Evan Road..This place is good..its quiet, prata shop nearby, just what Daddy loves on a Sunday morning. . Compared to Kindermusik, Raphael seems to be able to concentrate more here as there are 4 teachers to a class of approx 10 students..so whenever he start to roam ard, the teachers will "catch" him and make him sit down..Compared to his kindermusik marathon days, this is alot better lor..maybe due to he also "grown" up and am more interested in learning things in the class. . The theme today is food, and the words he learnt are noodles, 面条 and many more..One of the good points of the lesson being 2 hours long is that they have time to settle down, mix around with other classmates, have makan time in-between and have different activities to interest them..Its so nice to see them all getting excited and seated waiting for mummies to bring the food out for them..eating and drinking..like so enjoying. . Theres also outdoor activities like the playground and water bath for wet play..it certainly makes learning more fun and less stressful for our little Darling..Heard Elsie and Chloe will be joining Raphael in June..If that happens, then we can start to train Raphael to differentiate between them haha.. .   classroom full of food . Raphael "new" Bed
For the past 6 months, Raphael has been sleeping on the mattress on the floor in his playroom. he is so accustomed to this that he wont be able to sleep throughout the night in his own cot. Daddy and mummy also got used to sleeping together with him on the floor, forsaking our comfortable bed as we are afraid he may fall from the bed. . But seeing Raphael grow up and his actions are more steady, like climbing up and down from chairs etc..Daddy feel its time to let him have his own bed..Daddy spend 2 hours converting the cot into a small bed..When Raphael saw it, he was so excited that he kept climbing up and down and pretending to sleep on the bed. . But it doesnt last..after a while, he will climb down and cuddle with his Mickey mouse on the floor..OMG..got bed dun want..want to sleep on the carpet floor haha..this is my boy...Daddy slept besides him until he is sound asleep before carrying him onto his bed..and this morning at 630am, he is still sound asleep on the bed..Hope to slowly train him to sleep on his bed whenever he is sleepy.. . The Darlings of Phay Family
1 year each..3 year 3..they are technically 1 year apart..Yvette, Raphael and Ian..Awaiting Brandon's son this July, and it will be 4 year 4 kids in the family..if Mummy "strike" this year..next year will be number 5 hahaha..school books, toys even clothes can be pass down from top to bottom.. . Raphael's expanding vocab and skills
This little darling of ours has been growing and developing well..motor-pyscho skills, appetite, vocabulary..We can see that he is getting more and more 福气 nowadays..Daddy no longer can carry him single-handedly for more than few minutes. . He is also very curious and explorative, a bike is no longer for riding or sitting on..its for STANDING on..car seat is for mummy's bag..Raphael prefers to sit besides mummy with seat belt fasten.. . His vocab is a mixture of England and China..I want, I WANT is his fav sentence..recently his learnt a new word..Umbrella..which he proudly pronounce as "Um ba ba"..so cute to heard him interpret and pronouce it using his own adaptation.. . Normal words are no problem to Raphael..but i guess words like "Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis" wont be in his vocab for ages to come haha.. . Impact Model Photo Shoot session
Today is the last photoshoot session for Raphael with impact model..No assigment yet leh..Dunno want to continue or not..but at least we can have nice studio shots 3 times per year..can capture the stages of Raphael. . The results of this latest shoot is good..he looks like a 4 year old boy and not 22mths..cant wait to get our hands on the selected photos in a few weeks time..time for more canvas lor!! . Raphael is 22 Months old!
  Again, its the time of the Month and Raphael is now 22months old. His milestones no need to mentioned, it was just one word, "FANTASTIC" Talkative and demanding boy now, know how to demand for items, get his way round! We are planning to have a close door Birthday party for close relatives and family only in 3 Months time. This time round, I will plan for his cake, balloons and misc.... Well... It will be fun! Raphael's new BIKE
This little tikes step 2 bike has been on our Radar, as well as Raphael's for quite a few weeks..ever since Raphael tried it on his Julia Gabriel's trial class, he has been longing for it whenever he sees the photo it..he will go Motor "pok pok".. . This day we went to Vivo to get it for him as a gift for his 2nd Birthday..when Daddy wanted to fix it on the spot outside Toys R Us..You can see how excited Raphael is..he immediately came over, squat down and started piecing the parts together..as in he cant wait for Daddy to finish and he wants to help to speed things up.. . When the whole bike is fixed up, he sat on it and started riding ard vivocity...looking at his happy and proud smile makes us feel contended to spend the money on him. . He will ride for a few metres and turn back to look at us..and smile..his SMILE is like "I am sooo happy to get this bike Daddy and Mummy" .     Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts
Raphael's playroom - Before and After
Ever since we got the playroom carpetted, the family have been spending almost all our nights together in this room. The master room, living room is like for show only haha.. . Soon then EPL is on Mio TV, Daddy will spend even more time in the room..As its carpetted, we need to constantly vacuum it using our power Delphine vacuum cleaner..never fail to amaze us of the dust it can suck out of the carpet..good investment. . The room has just been tidied by Daddy over the weekend..it looks so neat and tidy..But it wont last long as Raphael seems to like mess rather than tidiness..this trait is alot like Mummy and not like Daddy.. . When he sees the cars neatly lined up on the table, he will use his arm to sweep all of them onto the floor.. he will also pour all his lego blocks out of the bucket.. He seems so happy doing it Daddy has given up trying to stop him..instead Daddy just got to work harder to keep the room clean and tidy. .  Just vacuumed carpet  All his stuffed toys are "hanged" neatly haha  His little sky garden corner complete with butterflies haha  look at his toy cars collection neatly lined up by DADDY Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

Brandon and Laiping expecting a BOY
