Grandpa Phay's 62nd Birthday!
Date : Saturday, April Venue : Noble House . Its grandpa Phay's 62nd birthday celebration at Noble house at CBD area..heard good reviews about the food, but the service SUCKS haha..anyway, we pay to eat and not to be served lah..Dun really recommend revisit as we an have better deals at SiChuanDouHua at UOB ya.. . Anyway, today is day 2 of the sibling rivalry meetup haha..Yvette still abit upset with Raphael..slowly ya.. . We have guests today, they are Grandpa's 2nd, 5th and youngest sis and auntie Minna. Bread Dispenser - 1st time see
Day : April Sat . We are invited to Auntie Siew May's precious's full month party at Tanah Merah..It was a HOT HOT day and knowing that there will be a pool there, mummy arrive prepared haha..as she know that Raphael is a water boy! Sibling Rivalry - passing phase
The 2 darlings...Raphael and Yvette are having some "serious" sibling rivalry..it all started with an accidental scratch, complaint and hurt feeling haha..the story goes.. One fine day, Raphael visited Yvette in their home and was happily playing away when Yvette accidentally scratched Raphael's hand..all seems well until when we reach home, Raphael suddenly point to the reddening scratch marks on his hand and complain saying : "mummy, pain pain, beat jie jie" We sayang him and assure him its ok and applied medication..who knows..this phrase becomes his favourite sentence for the past 3 weeks..whenenver he sees anyone, he will 1st call out "Auntie, Uncle, Ah Ma, Gong Gong" etc..followed by "beat jie jie" We parents also in the wrong, didnt correct him immediately and still tot its funny..but when he repeated this to Godpa and Godma to beat Yvette jie jie, Yvette overheard it and was upset..boohooo :( She was so upset that she ignored Raphael and complain to Godma that she dun want Raphael...aiyooo..2 darlings got bad blood liao hahaha. Hope this phase will pass and as parents, we shld be more sensitive to such comments and behaviour by our little ones and correct them.. Now mummy and daddy keeps repeating to Raphael "sayang jie jie..sayang jie jie"

3rd Photoshoot with Impact Model
Date : One fine day in March . Woohoo!! We have been waiting for this batch of photos until our neck grow looong..The shots are great and Raphael is like a grown up now..Comparing his past 2 shots with impact model, we can see that he is more composed and more camera savvy..He will always demand that we take pictures of him at home. Raphael : "mummy 拍照!" . Daddy's favourite is the one where he looks abit "beng\seng" haha..look at how his hands are positioned..machiam posing.. .    Raphael from 12-24 mths .. Preparations for Raphael 2nd Birthday!
Raphael is turning 2 soon on the 3rd of May 2010 and Daddy and Mummy are planning for a simple celebration with families and some friends..The food and cakes are already sourced..left the deco which is taken care by Mummy.. Daddy as usual has designed a simple invite for Raphael..We can see that the "theme" daddy uses this year is more "matured" compared to last year's BIG ONE!! Thats because Raphael is no longer a baby..he is a small boy who can bargain, manipulate and charm his way to get his needs and wants...

Visit to 2nd Grand Auntie House
Date : 4th April 2010 Saturday . We visited 2nd Grand Auntie's house today..And Raphael enjoyed himself tremendously...He enjoyed the company of all the aunties and everyone had a good time laughing at all his little antics.. . He sure knows how to "perform" to get attention..from singing "twinkle twinkle little stars...." to reciting the alphabets and peek a boo..when he saw the piano, he climbed onto the chair and position himself as though he is an expert..to our surprise..he actually started to use his fat fingers to press onto the keyboard and started singing along..he sure looks like he is 自弹自唱..he really enjoys himself on the piano..We guess he must have observed what the teachers in JG did and imitate them to play the piano and sing along.. . Another funny event..when Raphael fell down, he exclaimed!! "bua bua si" which means fall down in hokkien..must have picked it up at Grandpa's house haha..so funny to hear it from his mouth..and he repeated it whenever he fell accidentally or purposely. .  .  .  . Julia Gabriel 2nd Lesson
Date : 4th April 2010 Saturday . Its Raphael's 2nd JG lesson today..He is getting used to his new classmates and teachers..He also allows Daddy to accompany him in the class without crying for mummy..He has indeed grown up in this aspect..He was also able to follow instructions better and shown more interest in whatever artwork that the teachers demonstrate for the day.. . Today he learnt Grapes, 葡萄..He also doesnt mind getting his fingers dirty by dipping them into the paint and using his fingers to dap the grapes..He was also able to sing and dance along to the music in the lesson..at one point, he was able to imitate teachers by lifting one of his leg to dance along.. . The outdoor activity today is water play.but as its drizzling, his other classmates decided against waterplay, leaving Raphael to the pool by himself..He enjoyed himself as usual..he simply cant resist water haha . Ah Gu's Birthday!
Date : 27th March 2010 "Ah Gu" turns 26 today! We had a satifying dinner at a newly discovered Cantonese Restaurant which is cheap and good..no pictures as the only camera we brought went flat battery haha..Finished dinner and went home to a Bakerzin cake which is rich and chocolately...Raphael's fav.. Day Out West Coast Plaza
Date : Good Friday 2 April 2010 Its good friday and Daddy organised a mini gathering for all uncles..Grandparents Phay are away in China holidaying..so only the 3 elder Phay bros are gathered..We decided on West Coast Plaza as Daddy passed by it many times and was attracted by its bright facade.. . The place was interesting with many cafes, restaurants, Cold Storage and many japanese theme shops..Also there seems to be many factory outlet, Nike, Goldlion etc..seems got many good offers..an interesting observation is that there is no MacDonalds, Burger King, KFC!!. . We walked round and round before deciding on Fish and Co which we got a nice spacious corner for ourselves..The food today was good..above average as they seems to cook everything fresh on order and explains the longer waiting time..which we dont mind since its a leisure afternoon. . The "BEST" Fish and Chip was especially fresh, crispy and not fishy at all..the fries was also good...Daddy and Uncle shared a Seafood Feast amongst them (refer to picture), that was filling and variety was good.. .
