Getaway@HRC Hotel in Resort World
We arrived for early checkin at 1pm. The lobby is very funky, arty with dim lights and loud colours. This theme actually permates the whole hotel from the lift, corridor to the room. Its very different from the usual hotels that we stayed in. Apart from the design, the next thing that got us all excited was the pool area which was awesome..the pool is actually one of the main attraction of HRC Hotel..heard of the $500,000 imported sand and 6 different pools, it was very serene and relaxing when we are there on a weekday afternoon..we practically had the whole place to ourselves for sun bathing and jacuzzing. Dinner was at Hard Rock Cafe in RWS, the place was relatively empty when we arrive but filled up fast as dinner time aproaches..there was a good offer for DBS card members where we got 1 for 1 for the Entrees. Service was pleasant and fast..again marked down for revisit on a Fri night for drinks and snacks. Raphael joined us in the evening after our dinner and he seems ok to the new surroundings, rolling himself on the carpet, climbing up the day bed, exploring the open bathroom and enjoying looking out of the windows at the cable cars. His vocabulary is also improving, basically Raphael is chinese speaking..People may mistaken him for a China or Taiwan boy when they hear him speak.Recently he learnt new words and phraes.."看Daddy在做什麽?".."Mummy,你看Daddy又骐负Ah Phael".."Mummy,你看Daddy又弄Ah Phael眼睛痛痛". He knows how to use the words again "又" and all the time "整天" correctly in his conversation.. The stay has been a pleasant and enjoyable one..We will definitely be back for more stays if $$ permits haha.. .  Mummy checking in..using HER Credit Card hahaha  The nicely done up Lobby .  Found this nice backdrop for photos outside the lift lobby . .   The room .  The other corners of the room .  Complimentary cake for Daddy's birthday  Dinner at HRC..nice food..  Raphael enjoying himself on the daybed .  The pool is soo nice..sandy beaches with crystal clear water..all man-made .  Little corner for the kids .  Raphael playing with the water gun .  look at the sandy beach and water..like in those exclusive island .  Raphael in action, washing his head .  Enjoying himself throughly for 1 full hour running in and out of the water .  Angry when its time to leave the pool .  nice picture..we made him stand there and he didnt move .
