Setting up our Xmas Tree
Our xmas tree is finally up..Daddy started working on it after getting home from work and with Raphael's little help, the tree is up complete with decorations within 1 1/2 hrs.. This year, Raphael is aware of what is Xmas and when he saw the botak tree, he is so excited and keep telling daddy the tree is beautiful, 很美..and started singing his Jingle bell song..his own version of the song is sung as "xing kong" bell 星空 bell.. Dinner at SAF Changi yacht club
Ran out of places to go for Dinner and we ended up at this "wonder$ul" place located at far far away Changi Naval base. The Restaurant is actually open to Public and the food choice is plentiful from Asian to Western. The mee goreng is delicious, so is the fried chicken wings. Best of all is the SAF regular beer pricing..1 jug for $9..With the cooling breeze from the open sea and cheap food and beer, what else can we ask for. We were seated besides the playground and the kids really enjoyed themselves. Even little Ian also had some fun at the playground.  Nice place for Dinner  Father and Son..no dispute..why? small mouth.. Sing Song Raphael

Phobia of Airport
Raphael used to enjoy going to the airport as its spacious for him to wander around, exploring as his wishes. But last Sunday was his 1st visit again since sending Daddy off for his reservist in Oct. Once he sees the Departure terminal, he started to cling on to Daddy and says "Daddy, 不要去当兵". Seems he is still "traumatised" by Daddy's 3 weeks absence during his reservist. He will still every now and then tells Daddy not to "去当兵" and will also proudly says to Mummy "我把Daddy接回来了" We also noticed that Raphael "appreciates" Daddy more. Last Sunday, while carrying Raphael on the way to Great Grandpa Teo's home, Raphael suddenly turns around and kiss Daddy, not once but many times for no reason. He will look mummy in her eyes and ask her "你喜欢我吗?"..he will also tell mummy her eyes, nose, mouth and hair is beautiful wor..so touched to hear it from this little Darling.. Haji Day Out
Mid week break from work as its the Haji hols..woke up at 9 plus in the morning to prepare for our Zoo visit with Elsie and Chloe..great Sunny morning and smooth traffic all the way to Mandai..but what greeted us on the way into the entrance was a long snaking queue of cars.. Carpark full, "illegal" roadside parking also full..after a few rounds, gave up and made our way to Jalan Kayu for Prata breakfast (put Elsie and Chloe Aeroplane).. At a lost what to do, called Godpa Bennett and found they are going to Aunty Sharon's condo pool for swimming in the afternoon and decided to tag along as Raphael loves the pool and also playing with Yvette. After dinner, Raphael saw godpa and godma got into the lift and left without him. He felt so sad that he cried..at the carpark, he demanded to sit in Godma's WHITE car..apparently he told mummy that he loves the white colour..in the end, Yvette and Godpa in Daddy's car..Raphael and Mummy in Godma's car..strange combination. Tiring day for the kids and Raphael and Yvette dozed off on our journey back..its an enjoyable day for everyone..  Raphael needs to bring Thomas train everywhere he goes nowadays..  At Jalan Kayu Prata shop, Raphael abit cranky and demanded to sit on mummy's lap  Godpa Bennett back from Canada for a 3 week break  Water play time  Raphael scooping water  Yvette blocking water sprayed at her Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

Thomas Is the Cheeky One
6 months back, Daddy is happily telling Mummy how lucky we are that Raphael only loves Mickey Mouse and nothing else..No expensive Barney concerts and no expensive Thomas trains since he dont seems to be attracted by them.. 6 months down, and we are staring at 8 trains (yes!! Thomas train is not only 1 train..its countless)..Raphael can easily mouth off all the names of the trains he has and remember who is missing..Edward, Emily, Duncan, James, Gordon, Stanley, Percy, Thomas..on and on... Daddy cant tell the difference between Thomas and Gordon, they looks the same!!..but to Raphael, thery are different haha.. During his weekly JG lessons, when the teacher asks Raphael whats his name, he will look at the colour of the clothes he is wearing..If its red, he is called James..if its green, he will be Percy..We are thinking in the event that he is lost in shopping Mall, we need to be on alert for all the possible names in the Thomas train range..Raphael will be the last name he will want to be called.. At this moment, we are seriously thinking to name our soon to be born baby boy THOMAS!!
