Raphael's visit schoolmate house
raphael has a new playmate from school..introducing Kadence..every day he will tell mummy he wants to go visit her home..but he never had the chance and he can only see kadence and Steven walk away hand in hand..but today he finally got his wish as mummy is finally free to bring him to visit her house..we can see from their expression how much they enjoyed each other's company, especially the video of "pillow" fighting.. Gabriel's World
gabriel is 5 more days to 2 months old..he is gaining weight fast and guess he will be always at the 97th percentile for his weight, height like raphael kor kor..infact, on our last visit, raphael's PD Dr Allyson Tan commented raphael's weight and height is out of the curve..meaning his weight and height is unchartered haha.. Gabriel is very "yang or" lor..always wants to be carried to sleep and once we put him down, he will immediately cry and will only rest when carried..milk input is good at 125ml every 2 hours..soon he will start his innoculation package of 5 jabs in 6 months..hope he dont get fever too often due to the jab..  3 complete circle..2 eyes and 1 mouth  holding on to the hose for his dear life when bathing  smiley handsome Gabriel Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts
Yvette the gifted bowler
received these videos from far far away canada..ulu edmonton town..also got children bowling alley haha..seeing how looong the alley is..its amazing how yvette's bowling ball can actually hit the pins..especially the one where there is 2 left standing, and she still can hit it haha..its like laser guided like her dad's F16 missile..but its not surprising that we see yvette bowl like this haha..considering her mummy Yvonne is an ex-national bowler whaoh!! Raphael visit to Dentist
On our last visit to raphael's PD for his sinus..she noticed that raphael's cavity is quite "bad"..all along we noticed his cavity but dismiss it as normal as we tot its milk tooth and it will just fall out soon without any pain. but apparently our misconception of not needing to take care of their milk teeth are wrong..according to the dentist, their front teeth are less strong and can drop off during their growing years without much pain..but their molar, those big tooth behind are more lasting and can stay with them until 7-8 years old..and it will be painful if decayed.. phew...lucky we heed our PD's advise and book an appt with our regular dentist for a checkup..he commented that raphael's cavity is not that deep and wont require any drilling..he just filled it up and our brave raphael actually opens his mouth and allows the Dr Johnny to fill his cavities..guess what..we managed to fill all 4 cavities on our 1st visit.. we are reminded to encourage him to brush his teeth nightly and also to have a 1/2 yearly checkup..brave raphael..he been a real darling recently..  spot his cavities  waiting for the dentist's arrival  3 adults fussing over raphael's teeth .  this pic is so funny..all covered, left his teeth exposed  suddenly, no teeth haha..boh gay Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts
Impact Model Photoshoot March 2011
the last photo session 4 months back was "abandoned" as Raphael was very cranky and simply refuse to let the makeup artist do his makeup..4 months down the road, our raphael seems to have grown up..like his haricut, this time he actually allows people to do his makeup, from eyes, lips to hair..he seeems fine with it and just emphasis that it must not be painful haha. in the studio, he also poses for photo like a "pro"..cross arm, hands in pocket, seated, cross legs and lean forward..whah..so many pose haha..cant wait for the actual studio photos to be out..  applying lip gloss  spiky hair  sleepy eyes  making up his eye lash  in the studio  finished product Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

Bonding time
looking at raphael and gabriel lying together makes us feel so blessed..both healthy, cheerful, handsome and BIG size boys..raphael loves gabriel and is also very protective over him..however, if gabriel makes noise or cries and affected raphael, he can be violent at times..once he walked over to gabriel and slap him on the tummy asking him to keep quiet as his cries is affecting his sleep.. at times, raphael will play with gabriel, or rather use him as a object of amusement..touturing gabriel for his own amusement..like the photos below, he will pull his sleeve and take his mittens away.he is thoroughly enjoying himself..the same cannot be said for gabriel..he seems to be helpless as kor kor attacks him haha         Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

Raphael's World
raphael has many pair of crocs..blue mickey mouse, yellow star, bright blue crocodile..today just as mummy is getting him ready to go class, raphael sat on the floor and looked at his 2 pair of crocs..yellow star and blue crocodile..he said to mummy "if i wear yellow star, blue crocodile will be sad and cry..if i wear blue crocodile, yellow star will be sad and cry".. mummy seeing its getting late for his lesson, just ask him to wear both and this is the end product..he is so happy to be able to please both yellow and blue that he wears them for the past 3 days haha..it looks not too bad..as both are bright colors and complement well.  fashion trendsetter mummy got those handy mop from Daiso at $2 each and since raphael likes to help out (kaypoh), she task him to clean the room and subsequently the living room. Godpa Bennett and Family - Canada
its been a week since godma, yvette jie jie and ian didi left for canada to join godpa for next 6 months..heard ian fell ill on the day they touched down in vancouver with high fever..poor ian..but from this picture send by godma on fri, looks like ian has made a quick recovery and enjoying precious daddy time.. the drinks on their hand looks soo tempting..its looks such a big portion for the 2 kids..somehow can feel the joy of yvette and ian..must be so proud and happy that they can have their daddy by their side  can you sense the joy of the 2 kids...? Hard to tell the difference

Raphael is 34mths old and Gabriel is 34 days old
raphael "celebrates" his 34th month birthday today and our deprived mummy went to buy a whole cake..soo fattening leh..but raphael was so happy and excited, he kept bugging daddy to finish all his chores and cut cake..see how happy he is to blow candles and how he enjoys eating the cake in big mouthful and making a mess of himself. Gabriel is about 34 days old today..the 2 brothers still looks so alike when young..especially the big big eyes..  gabriel, gabriel and more gabriel  our "birthday" boy  messy boy..  how big can he open his mouth argh! A "Miracle" happened on 6th March 2011
 This Sunday started normally with the whole family lazing until 2 plus in the afternoon before we go out to run some errands and weekly visit to Grandpa Teo's duck rice stall at ABC market. Raphael, as usual his bubbly self and made everyone happy just by seeing him. At the stall, he is so protective of his bowl of braised sauce rice that he "attacked" daddy when he pinch a small spoonful of his rice. Now for the "Miracle" part..we reached Grandpa Phay's house at 6pm and while waiting to have dinner, Granny Phay 奶奶 talked about bringing Raphael to have his hair cut at the saloon she frequents..Raphael overheard the word "剪头发" and immediately tells everyone that he dont want to 剪头发. Daddy and mummy was also half hearted as we dont wish to spoil our Sunday evening struggling and consoling a crying Raphael, which we knows he will become after a haircut. But we also hope that we can get his hair cut today as his impact model photo session is due on the 18th march..Bringing him to SuperCuts at Nex, his usual saloon is also stressful due to the crowd, parking issues etc..sigh.. Not long after, Grandpa Phay came back from his Kopi break and was in the room relaxing on the massage chair when Raphael went up to him and ask "爷爷，带我去剪头发" : O Mummy overheard that but didnt think much of it that this will actually materialise. His last haircut session 2 months back is still fresh on our mind..he was crying and struggling so hard that he vomitted on himself and mummy..and what a stressful day that was. Grandpa Phay stood up and Raphael obediently followed him out of the house..Daddy tagged along, thinking how could it possibly be..Raphael "volunteer" to cut hair..thinking he must be using this as a cover to get Grandpa to go buy snacks for him. Mummy doesnt believe and thought we are just bringing him to buy snacks and thus didnt follow. The 3 of us walked to Granny Phay's usual neighbourhood saloon and strangely, Raphael walked into the saloon willingly and didnt object or fuss. He allows 爷爷 to use the fan to blow dry his hair and stood there waiting for the lady to finish her last customer..Daddy is still doubtful, thinking he will surely start fussing once the auntie touch his hair. Soon, its his turn and we carried him onto the chair and he didnt struggle..the lady placed 1 towel over his neck..still no struggle..then the lady use a large cloth to cover his whole body leaving only his big head visible..still no struggle..The magic moment is when the lady snipped his first lock of hair, all he said to the lady was "auntie, 不要痛痛阿" and remain seated obediently.. Daddy was really dumbfounded..at a loss for words..just than realised he forgot to bring his phone and there is no photos or video of this special milestone in Raphael's life.. He remain seated and allows his hair to be trimmed and occassionally will look into the mirror and smile to himself, making some funny expressions..Every now and then, he will also remind the lady to 不要痛痛 ah..in less than 20mins, without any effort, his hair is trimmed and Daddy is sooo sooo proud of him. Leaving the saloon, 爷爷 kept his promise of rewarding Raphael and told him to choose anything he likes at the mini-mart..Raphael stood there, looked around and wanted nothing..we told him to take a packet of his favourite Chocolate milk and guess what he said.."Mummy 有了"..meaning mummy already has choco milk at home.. Daddy realised that he didnt want any "reward" for having his hair cut..which makes this event more meaningful..we still dont understand what makes him so willing to cut hair today..the only difference is place, and 爷爷 around..we guess its 爷爷 :) Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts
