water time @ vivo
date : 25th april 2011 occassion : just another relaxing afternoon at last daddy have free time and mood to bring the family out after submitting his long overdue project report today...with the whole afternoon free, we decided on vivo (again) for makan, shopping at toyRus and also the outdoor water play area for raphael. we bought a pair of water pistol at toyrus and immediately put it to use with daddy and raphael engaging in a battle of water as captured in the video..raphael enjoyed himself immensely and got drenched throughly by the time we call it a day at the outdoor area.. his 3YO birthday is just round the corner on 3rd may, daddy already eyed a bicycle for him which he really likes when we got him to try in toyrus..in the end, we found the perfect bike in kiddy palace..the colour is baby blue, height is just nice, basket in front and rack at the rear..the brake feels responsive..Puuurfeeect.. daddy is looking forward to exercise time with raphael at east coast with him riding and daddy jogging, mummy chasing with gabriel in the stroller, all on a breezy sunday morning (if we can wake up)     . 2nd Dental visit in a month
a week after last visit to dentist, raphael's cavity filling dropped off..we sort of expected it to but not soo fast..it costs us a good $165 to do his 4 cavity.. this visit we feedback to the doctor and also tried to find out a more permanent solution..1st - as the dentist didnt drill his cavity to create a better hold on the filling, its not as strong and tends to drop off easier..but the upside is there is no pain. 2nd option will be to put him on general anaesthetic (GA) and this will cost up to a thousand argh...sooo expensive to patch up a kid's tooth ah..after finding out more, we can actually uses medisave to cover part of the cost etc.. in the end we decided on the non drilling filling as doctor mentioned the previous filling fell out could be due to raphael didnt allow it to dry up before he wets it. this time round, we made him open his mouth for longer period to allow the filling to dry..and best part is the doctor only charges us $15 for the consultation..repatch job is free..heng ah..we were in there for a good 30mins and daddy is expecting to fork out another $100+ bucks.. the filling has been holding up well for the past 2 weeks..lets hope it stays well and we dont have to go down the GA path. What R&G been doing daily
mummy is still on maternity leave and enjoys spending time with the kids..when its bored, they will do fun, silly things haha..its been hard on raphael as weekdays are mostly spent coop up at home as its difficult to bring him out with gabriel still so young..short trips to compasspoint or nearby econ will light up his day..of course not forgetting his daily 90mins school which he enjoys mixing with his friends (mostly gals)  our new domestic helper..  daddy finally took out the swimming tub for gabriel  the tub is huge..can accomodate 2  at grandpa teo's house where he has season parking for this bike Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts
Godpa Bennett and Family - Canada
date : 24th april 2011 some pictures and videos of Bennett and family in canada..heard this weekend they are driving up to some Banff ski snow resort..a 10 hours drive from their house in cold lake..sounds freezing cold. good thing Ian and yvette seem to like the cold.  nice 2 seater stroller..seriously considering getting one for raphael and gabriel   nice scenic view on their way to Banff ski resort Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts
Grandpa turns 63!
date : 19th april 2011 occassion : grandpa phay's birthday this years celebration was done on the actual day and not on a nearest weekend..bennett and family is in canada..brandon is in shanghai and cant join us..so they called grandpa to send well wishes..and maybe "angpow" $ haha... Lets wish Grandpa Phay good health and happy always.. the cake is bought by laiping from nYdC whoohoo..mummy gekeng sees it and her eyes lights up bright..and when raphael sees the cake..his eyes opens even wider...thanks to auntie laiping for the generous cake :)  lying on the bed relaxing  gabriel like buay song haha  see this boy..eyeing the cake for the longest time  troubled..still waiting to cut and eat the cake..wats the delay?  nice rich choco mousse cake from NyDc  candle blowing  raphael in action..performing stunt to down the cake in 1mins haha Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts
Updates on Garbiel - 3 months old
Gabriel is pooh pooo poop..last night gabriel finally poop after "constipation" for the past 5 days..mummy is sooo relieved to see him pooo this time..felt so "relieved" for him hahah. the 2 brothers are really so alike..daddy sometimes feels like they are "twin" haha..  raphael  gabriel  tummy time  he can hold his head up well Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

updates on little Phays
Heard that yvette is missing school life in singapore..missing her classmates, teachers in St Anne kindergarten..next year Raphael and Yvette will be in he same school..She learns how to recite Our Father in school and in the video below, she prays for Auntie Magdelene, prays that she overcome this difficult period in her life and she will recover fully.  Ian..little bennett..same mouth, same eye brows and NOW..same hairstyle...frankly speaking, Ian looks good with short hair haha..maybe because we usually see him in short spiky hair..just like his daddy..in the video below, Ian is having his hair cut home style..by daddy. Raphael Modelling Portfolio

Growing Raphael
Our original star of this blog..RAPHAEL..daddy has been busy with project and work to update the blogs recently..tons of nice pictures are collecting dust in the camera..finally found the time and mood to update the blog.. After 2 months in the Apple Tree playgroup, raphael's england is getting better..he is 70% chinese and 30% english speaking..not bad for his age..we need to work harder on his spelling though..realised we didnt spend much time on getting him to recognise words. shapes, numbers and alphabets are no problems for him,,but not words yet.. for shapes, he can differentiate octagon from hexagon..he can also pronounce them correctly.. the studio photos we took last month is ready...we are expecting them in the mail anytime this week..heard from the modelling agency that the pictures are nice..sweee...!  look at our "hiao" raphael posing..hip tilted leh..got potential  hands in pocket, standard model pose..  raphael is 1m tall!! at 3 years old..omg..his weight and height is out of the "Curve" on your speaker and listen to him performing fast and slow numbers  angry bird taking flight..gravity defying stunts ahaha  he is aspiring to be a pilot like his Godpa..fly aeroplane..  he looks muscular in this shot..tummy like dissappear.. What Mummy and the boys do to pass time
