Raphael is 3 Years Old
Date : 2-3rd May 2011 Occasion : Raphael turns 3 Years Old Its the May day long weekend and we celebrated Raphael's big 3 on Monday 2nd May..his actual day is 3rd May which is reserved for Mummy and daddy haha.. As its a public hols on 2nd May, we invited family and a few of raphael's classmates for a simple gathering at home..as for how we made up the guest list? what is the criteria? well..this is actually the "wish" of our Star of the day Raphael's choce..weeks back, we started asking telling him that we will be celebrating his birthday soon..on hearing this, raphael asked : "will there be alot of friends celebrating with me"? oops...mummy intends only to have immediate family...a close family affair.. so we expanded our guest scope to include raphael's friends..but who are his "friends"..so we decided to ask him..and his answers are "Isabelle (apple tree), Kaydence (apple tree), Shaine (May babies)..Elsie and Chloe (May babies)...on closer look..why all GIRLS?! Raphael has been wishing for a bicycle for weeks..and we bought one and hid it in the storeroom..its been tough keeping it away from him, epecially when he will keep asking us.."where is my bicycle leh?" many a times we really hope to just give it to him..but we endured, wanting to surprise him on his party day.. he is really un coorperative during the cake cutting session and insist on having his bike..so we have no choice but to let him open his present before the cake cutting session...in the end, we need to carry him and his bike up for the cake cutting..piangz.. from this moment on, everything he do will revolve ard this bike..the helmet which auntie layhoon gotten for him is also his fav item now..he will wear it and walk ard the house haha..the size of the helmet is actually meant for 5-8 years old..but fits him just nice as his head circumference is really big  spot the odd thing on the banner? .  ...  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  raphael with auntie layhoon .
