iPad2 - Daddy's Birthday Present
 June is the birthday month of Daddy and mummy is so excited and generous..she wants to buy an iPad2 for daddy as his present..sounds fantastic hor..BUT.... 1st - there is no surprise to daddy at all as she made it clear that this is for raphael to use to learn words etc. 2nd - Daddy got no interest in iPad at all as he dont see a purpose for it..too big for a phone, too small for a desktop The best is that mummy said to Daddy "I got you such an expensive present this year, my birthday next year must be of equal value hor" Daddy was like :S this "present" is for raphael and not me lor... Jokes aside, lets focus on the iPad2 now..we gotten the 32GB WiFi only version..we can connect it to the internet using our iphone as a hotspot, so no need to get dedicated 3G plan for the iPad..saves some money.. Raphael was soo excited about it and we ask him to help choose the protection cover to protect such a fragile looking device since he will be the main user..shortly after paying and settling down at StarBucks for coffee, Raphael asked :"我的大大个的电话呢?" which means where is my that BIG phone haha.. so raphael shares the same thoughts as daddy..the iPad is just a BIG BIG phone in his eyes. Reached home, we set it up and raphael immediately made it his own..sitting on his chair, he places the ipad on his little table and started requesting to play angry birds, puzzles and monster trucks..he also watches his favourite youtube videos..when daddy brought Gabriel to watch, standing behind raphael, this little miser actually takes the ipad away to a corner and declares it his..no one can share...OMG.. after a while, he is generous enough to share and returns to his chair..after 1-2 hrs on the ipad, he commented to mummy "I am soo tired..need to watch video, play games etc.." Mummy is like : "no one ask you to play so much at the same time argh !!.." Soon after, he requested for his small phone (mummy's iphone) to continue watching his videos on the bed.. this marks the 1st day of RAPHAEL's iPad2 adventure..    Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts
