Visit to Punggol Beach
with all the hype about Punggol 21..the opening of the waterfront and punggol promenade..daddy bought raphael down to punggol beach on this bright sunny afternoon for sand play..but sad to say punggol beach still has a long way to go before it can be compared to East coast or even Pasir Ris for its sand quality.. the beach is "smelly" and the water is not exactly clean..the sand is coarse, feels slimy at some patches and littered with broken glass..managed to find a cleaner area for rapahel to build his sand castle, not to disappoint as he has been looking forward to sand play since morning..initially thought that with the revamped punggol area which is being touted as a up and coming recreational area, the place will be sandy and clean for family..guess we will still need to travel furthur to East coast park or even Sentosa to really enjoy quality sand..
