Sibling love is magical
This evening as the family is lazing In the kids playroom, mummy brought her fav pine garden cheesecake into the room. While she is enjoying it with Gabriel, we heard a familiar sound from Raphael. It's the sound of him wanting to vomit. It's a bad habit of his which we should have known better than to eat things he don't like infront of him. Next moment he vomited on the carpet floor. OMG. It's not just a small mess. He is basically a free flow tap. .After spending half and hour to clean up the mess and dried the carpet area. Daddy stare hard at Raphael and give him a piece of mind. Asking him if he is apologetic blah blah. All these while Gabriel is very quiet and observing the scolding. Mummy also gave him the cold shoulder. . The next is the magical moment. Raphael in between sobs said to Gabriel "Gabriel I love you" and Gabriel crawled over to sayang Raphael. When Raphael lies down besides Gabriel. Didi uses his hand to sayang korkor and they are like hugging each other and both fell sleep soon after. Such is the brotherly love. Ohh soo touching. .  Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts

Gabriel's Baptism

Day out at Pasir Ris beach
This is one of the rare Saturday that Daddy is not working..we planned our activities full for the day, focus of course still is on the boys..after getting their haircut and arcade at Virtualand at NEX, we made our way to Pasir Ris beach in the late afternoon when the sun is not so strong as we promised Raphael to bring him to play with sand.. The beach is windy and the sun is hidden behind the white fluffy clouds..Perfeect weather..we lay down our mat and mummy and Gabriel laze there while Daddy and Raphael get down to building sand castle.. Paris Ris Beach is actually a nice place compared tp East Coast which is too crowded..although the sand here is not as smooth and sandy compared to ECP, but the laid back feel of the place more than make up for it.. After we pack up, we stroll along the walk path and chance upon a wedding just by the beach..whah..looks nice and romantic.. Seeing this, Daddy suggested to Mummy to have our Dinner at the Mid Summer Nite cafe besided the wedding reception..we got a cool shady table and had an enjoyable dinner with the cool breeze blowing..what a nice way to end our Saturday  Gabriel is afriad of the water and sand  Our cheeky boy who made this outing happen  enjoying the breeze  bonding time  Gabriel is sooo happy  good place for kite flying..we will bring ours next time  We chanced upon a wedding by the beach..nice..  the view from our dining table  Gabriel loves his food.. Hair Cut for the boys
The kid's hair are growing fast and we need to bring them for haircut almost every 5-6 weeks..Raphael enjoys having his haircut as he can watch cartoons and sit on the buggy car in the salon..but Gabriel is like Raphael 2 years back..he will cry the house down whenever the stylist cut his hair still..guess he will need a few more sessions before he grows out of it..the only saving grace is that he dont struggle too much although he do cries..so its still relatively easy to get his hair trimmed. The 2 boys looks boyish and refresh with their new short crop. Brandon and Family Leaving for Shanghai
Brandon and Family brought forward their departure to Shanghai on the 18th Feb..its a 2 year initial posting and we will next get to see them on next year's CNY..its going to be a long wait, esepcially the grandparents who will miss Caleb and soon to be born Charis :)     Caleb and Yati, wonder will he miss her in Shanghai.. Food Cutter
On Daddy's request, Mummy bought these cute food cutters to make eating more interesting for Rapahel..its not that Raphael have eating problem..but the problem is he dont eat healthy stuffs like fruits, vegetables etc..so we tot of cutting them into cute shapes like below which we tried on his bread..we have yet to try it on vege..going to soon and hope he will eat more of such healthy snacks over his fav curry puffs and other junk food.. Dining outing at MBLM
This weekend we are having a dinner gathering as Brandon and Family is moving to Shanghai next week..we decided on Marina Bay Link Mall's Paradise Inn as its not crowded and the shopping mall and open area on the surface is spacious for the kids to run around freely.. Seeing how they enjoyed themselves makes this place the right choice..the open area in between MBFC and The Sail is windy with a nice view of the Marina Reservoir waterfront..the elders relaxing on the bench, walking on the foot reflex pebbles while the kids had a hell of a time running on the grass patch..they must have covered every blade of grass tonight..especially Raphael and Yvette who have endless energy.. Taekwondo lesson for Raphael
Raphael has been to many enrichment class, mainly for fun learning on Sundays..Kindermusik, Julia Gabriel, I can Read and the latest is Taewkondo!! We noticed that he likes to imitate kungfu fighting and Taekwondo seems cool hor..also it can help him to lose some weight..so we decide to bring him to a trial session last Sun at Goldhill Centre. He seems to like the class and the activities..he is able to concentrate and observe the teachings by the instructor..we are still considering whether to sign up for this lesson as we are afraid he will get bored of it..but its been a week and whenever we sound him out about Taekwondo, he is still excited and enthusiatic..guess we will sign up soon.. We are really showing favourism for Raphael..inorder to let him take up TKD, we opt to give up Kindermusik for Gabriel as Daddy is complaining that the weekend is getting too tiring with enrichment lesson for both..so in the end..Raphael wins.. Raphael doing the Lion Dance
Raphael loves lion dance ever since he sees it up close during Grandpa Teo's stall opening in ABC market close to a year back..with CNY coming this year, we sees more such Lion Dance events around us and he started to remember the drums beat and imitate the dancing actions..he will use play around covering himself with blankets and dance to his own "dong dong qiang qiang".. Over the weekend we went to Chinatown to immerse in the post CNY atmostphere and also to shop for a real lion dance head gear for him..managed to get one that fits him and the rest is History haha... see the videos of him dancing along to the dong dong qiang music and see the way he "takes" the angpow from Ah Gong..hope this dance of his will lead to Grandpa Teo's stall having roaring business in the year of Dragon..  .  below video is a must watch.. seee how raphael collects the angpow while lion dancing.. he sure looks like a "Pro" haha. .. . . .
