GoGo Bambini
Its one of the few weekends that Daddy is not working..hmmm..weekends seems especially long without work on Saturdays..the family woke up early for breakfast at Dome at Dempsey village before the kids playtime at go-go-bambini..its unlimited play for them. this is Gabriel's 1st visit and he enjoy it lots..however as he is still not walking steadily, mummy needs to accompany him in the playground..the opposite is of Raphael..he is soo familiar with the place, we simply let him play on his own..we observes him interacting with other kids and conversing in English with ease..playtime is also language confidence time.. by the end of 3 hours...yes...3 hours...his head is all wet as though he just had a bath..in between he just keep drinking plain water and off he goes into the playground.. After getting him out of the playground, we went to the Ben and Jerry's parlour next door for some sweet treats..its soo good to have the weekend wholely to the family and not needing to share it with Saturday work.. Disney on ICE March 2012
The long awaited Disney on Ice event for Raphael and his friends at Singapore Indoor Stadium on the 15th March 2012..Standing besides his friends shows how well he absords nutrients haha..Mummy splurge on this darling as usual, bought a $25 dollar toy thats swings and swings..if daddy is around, this wont happen haha.. Daddy is passing time at nearby Kallang leisure park while mummy goes for the performance with Rapahel.. All about Raphael
Date - 26th March 2012 Today is Raphael's 3 Years 11 Months old..its 1 month before his 4 YO..this boy is soo talkative, good at expressing his emotions, good at logical thinking..and best at performing by acting and singing... Earlier in the car while we are driving home, mummy is talking to daddy and as usual Raphael will keep interrupting the converstation by shouting etc, trying to catch our attention..we used to scold him for cutting us off and threaten to beat him if he dont behave.. But this time round, he actually said to mummy "i am talking to daddy too!!" We realised that he is actually making sense, not only mummy have the rights to talk to daddy..Raphael also has the same rights haha.. Raphael 1 - 0 Mummy  Newer Posts <- -> Older Posts
Gabriel's new stroller
recently, with Raphael not wanting to walk as much coupled with Gabriel's increasing weight..mummy decided that its time we get another stroller for Gabriel..mummy can no longer carry Gabriel for long, even with the help of the baby sling pouch.. At baby hypermart at kaki bukit, we took a good 2 hours before deciding on the "perfect" stroller..perfect is a combination of price ($159), colour, design (umbrella fold like a maclaren), size (can fit into our boot).. Our choice is Cybex, which we feel is really a steal at $159 considering the feel of the make, design, ease of folding and stability in use.. Gabriel seems to be aware of his new "car" and will willingly sit in it while we push the around..when the 2 brothers are side by side, like racing with each other, Gabriel will squeal with excitement.. this is really a good choice and future outings will be more relaxed with 2 strollers.. Gabriel is diagnosed with Bronchitis
Its all our fault that Gabriel's cough develops into something more critical and requires neubrilizer treatment..we have been putting off bringing him to his PD and relying on self medication..thinking that his cough will just go away..but its not the case and over the weekend we find his breathing getting heavier and sounds muffled..so we finally brought him to see his PD and luckily we did it as the PD says any more delay of 1-2 days will be worst and may even require hospitalisation.. We are really guilty of being more negligent towards Gabriel compared to Raphael..in the case of Raphael when he is young, any slight cough or flu and we will queue for 2-3 hours in the evening after work to see his PD.. After this, we will definitely pay the same attention to both when they are sick and not to take any sickness lightly..especially when little Gabriel is only 14months old.. Granny Phay on seeing Gabriel needing neubriliser treatment went teary eyed..she must have also blamed herself for not insisting earlier PD visit for Gabriel, instead also relying on her TCM method of drink "cooling".. Raphael Making fun of Daddy's small eyes
In this video, Raphael is playing the role of an Army officer with his helmet and a cane in hand.. We are watching his karaoke CD in the room when he suddenly turns on Daddy and ask him why his eyes soo small (Raphael imitates daddy's small eyes in the video)..then he tells Daddy to open eyes big big like him (Raphael demo what he meant by BIG eyes). Scheming Gabriel
This evening after the Disney on Ice outing at indoor stadium and had just reached home. As usual mummy will be wrapping "presents" in the dining. Daddy and Gabriel watching tv in the living while Raphael "pang sai" in the pool table area. Gabriel with the TV remote in hand, walks over to the squatting Raphael. Raphael tells him to back off as it smells. At this moment. Mummy have been observing the pair as she is afraid that Raphael will push Gabriel to the floor. But what she saw is the opposite haha. Gabriel throws the remote on his hand hard onto the floor and started crying and pointing to the remote on the floor. The scene seems to be Raphael who did it if mummy didn't happen to witness the whole "incident". Gabriel must have tot mummy didn't see it and cried and cried while pointing to the controller and glancing back to see mummy. Expecting mummy to scold Raphael. Thinking back. Did we actually malign Raphael on occasions when he tells us it Gabriel who did those wrong things and we just assume its Raphael fault since Gabriel is crying and had to be the victim. Raphael Flying kite on his own
We have been going to the beach for the past 2 weekends due to Raphael's insistence..its not hard to see why..the place is windy, cool weather and he can play with Sand to his hearts content..well..for Daddy and mummy, we just need to make ourselves comfortable.. We bought a kite to fly this time round..its really easy to get the kite up in the air due to the constant breeze and even Raphael had no problem handling the kite on his own..see the video below on how he flys the kite by himself.. Gabriel? well he is afraid of the sand and gladly stays within the straw mat to mum's delight..he will snack on his biscuits while looking at kor kor..once he sees him walk over, he will gesture to mummy to cover his biscuit container..going "arrgh..aaarrhh." and use his hands to cover the biscuits..when kor kor walks closer, he actually cries as though kor kor will snatch his biscuits..its sooo funny seeing how he react.. Gabriel Starts walking
We observed Gabriel is able to stand and balance himself without support since he is about 1 YO..he is also able to take 1-2 steps forward..for the past week, he is starting to be more confident and on the 28th Feb which he is 13month and 2 days old, he started to walk..he is able to take 8-10 steps forward and turn himself in any direction he wish..although this is not the 1st time we witness our child walking, but the joy and pride we have of Gabriel is definitely not any lesser than what we experienced for Rapahel.. . Yati going home
29th Feb, leap year and Yati our good helper for the past 4 1/2 years is leaving us to return home..we still remember her when she 1st arrives in the family, Yvette is yet to be born..and now that she is leaving, the house already has 5 grandkids..she has witness the arrival of 5 grandchildren of Grandpa and Grandma Phay..
