Punggol Beach
Date - 1st Jan 2013
We spend our New Years Day in bed until close to noon before we started looking for activities for the day..while on our way to Tampines One after lunch at Pasta Mania (the new outlet at Sengkang Swimming Complex serves good food, some other outlet cannot make it), we made a last minute decision to drop by Punggol beach as mummy had never been here although its the Nth time for the kids..
Its a sunny day and we stayed a good 30mins there taking pictures and the kids exploring the ponds, sand and playground..the empty land besides the carpark is up for tender for F&B outlets..this place will soon be another "happening" place..
Daddy still have fond memories of this place 25 years back when its still a buzzing place for seafood with the famous Punggol Choon Seng located right at the edge of the beach..overlooking the sea and jetty..
