3 Days of CNY 2013
1-3 days of CNY..
its Daddy's favourite and most important event of the year..Lunar New Year..
its a time where kids enjoys receiving red packets and unlimited supply of sweets and drinks..out with old stuffs and in with new clothes to start the year with joyous gathering and feasting..
We have an extra day of celebration as the 1st day falls on a Sunday, so tuesday is a makeup and we have more time to visit friends and relatives..
the pace this year is a leisure, manageable 4-5 family visits per day..this is considered "mild" compared to once where we squeezed in 8-9 visits in a single day..
CNY Eve..Reunion Dinner  Grandpa and Granny Phay  Busy putting the final touch to the spread before we start  The PHAYs 1st DAY of CNY  Traditional Bai Nian in family..eldest son Brandon and Family  Our Family's turn  Raphael walking to Church  Gabriel in high spirits..great start to the 1st day of CNY  strange sight..bringing his own foldable chair and seated at the main entrance  Gabriel and Grandpa in Church  Our 1st house visit..the kids wishing the elders a Happy Prosperous New Year  Raphael drenched in sweat after lion dancing  Gabriel also trying his hands on Lion Dancing  Dinner at the Teo's side of the family..great BBQ meats as usual.. 2nd DAY of CNY  The kids awake early and all dressed up  posing in high spirits  Gabriel wishes all a great year ahead  Raphael wishes all TIO 4D and TOTO  Blue and Yellow Master..carrying firearms..strange combination  Gabriel enjoying Great Uncle Boon Heng's attention   The 2 kids posing with Great GrandFather from Granny's side of family  Noon gathering at PHAYs side of family..
