Botanical Garden Runabout

Its a cloudy evening and although we heard on the radio that there will be rain in whole of Singapore we still brave ahead for an evening of runabout in the botanical garden.
We started with a leisure stroll and the children on seeing the endless open fields just started chasing each other, kick balls and play boomberang..its a good workout for the kids and they totally enjoyed the open spaces..
within mins they are all covered in sweat..we went on to explore the place until we reach the symphony stage and it started to rain..not knowing which direction to take and not having our umbrella with us, we decided to take shelter at one of the rest area..its a good decision as it started raining heavily and we are "trapped" for close to 1 hours..
but the time the rain ease, its already 7 plus and the place is dark and the available lamps are dimly lit..we walked for a good 15mins in the slight drizzle before finally seeing the entrance where we came from.
Dinner is our fav Beppu Ramen and its taste so good after a great workout plus cold walk in the rain
Overall the Botanical Gardens is a good and safe place for the boys to runabout and we plan to be back for picnic again
