Exercising Raphael
We are guilty of allowing Raphael too much time on his iphone\ipad as an easy way out to keep him occupied..lacking exercise and indulging in too much of his favourite snacks..he is slowly and surely putting on more excess meat..:)
Our new resolution will be to be more discipline with his diet and introduce more outdoor exercise whenever time allows..
On diet..we started to restrict his favourite Milo and change it to plain water and mixing brown rice to plain rice..he is accepting it well..he knows that Milo is a "treat" and not a must to go with each meal..
He also strike a compromise with "GOD" that he will start eating vegetables from 5 YO instead of 18 YO (dunno why 18..but he tells Daddy that GOD says 18 YO is too late..so he needs to start at 5 YO haha)..Raphael is conscious of this vege eating commitment and will take small bites of leafy greens every now and then and be proud of it.
Loving a Child is to do whats best for him and not whats NICE to him..in the process it will also train him on his discipline.
